So it turns out the Mania weekend NJPW show will be a hybrid show with New Japan & Impact talent. Announced so far:
Josh Alexander vs. Kushida
Speedball vs. Will Ospreay
Moose vs. Jeff Cobb
It seems like many fans are working themselves into a shoot that Mercedes Mone will show up. I'm just hopeful we get *any* Knockouts included on the show.

Oh. My.
Already looking like a great card and should only get better. So glad to see Impact working with NJPW more. Just hope those in charge do not mess it up like in the past.

Speaking of Speedball, as a friend of mine pointed out, he has some great matches already announced for Mania Weekend: Speedball vs Kota Ibushi at Bloodsport Speedball vs Will Ospreay at Impact/NJPW Speedball vs Vikingo at Spring Break |

He is the man right now and this is why I was so excited that Impact signed him. I wish they would bring Veda in too even if just to help do commentary on some matches.

He is the man right now and this is why I was so excited that Impact signed him. I wish they would bring Veda in too even if just to help do commentary on some matches. Veda is a good commentator. One thing I like about Veda’s commentary is that, unlike some commentators, she knows move names and sometimes even describes the move’s intended impact. For example, one match I watched last week on which Veda did commentary, she correctly identified a Gator Roll and then she said the move is designed to both disorient and fatigue the opponent. |

Damn, not only will Josh Alexander not be at this event but Will Ospreay is injured and miss it. He was going to face Mike Bailey. That was going to be an amazing match. Will's replacement is Hiroshi Tanahashi so it will still be a great match. A sleeper match might be Jeff Cobb vs Moose. A pair of hosses who can also wrestle.
