This is a house rules I've used for quite some time now. Over time, I'm sure there have been many other house rules for using referees in matches, so if it seems as if I'm copying someone else, please know it's not intentional. All referees have 4 main traits: PIN, DQ, CO, and DIS. These are listed as modifiers (or 'mods'), and are applied to the linked dice rolls. So, a +2 mod would be like "2d6+2", or a -1 mod would be like "2d6-1". *PIN: Range from -2 (a fast counter) to +2 (a slow counter), and is applied whenever a wrestler rolls the dice for PIN. Since I use the old-school concepts for most cage matches (i.e. over the top or through the door), this doesn't apply to CAGE rolls. *DQ/CO: Range from -2 (very strict) to +2 (very lenient). Like PIN, these mods are applied to all DQ or CO rolls. *DIS: Range from -2 (easily distracted) to +2 (good luck...). You'd be surprised how a simple referee can sway the outcome of a match from one side to the other.
