February 2123 recap:
As we start off February 2123, Monolith continues to have a stranglehold on the GWF title, with the legendary Wolf breathing down his neck. A title match is set for Invasion, which will see the two battle it out for the big belt. A tournament for the Holovision title will happen on the first card of the month, with U.S. Male, Payback, Vidtek, and the newcomer Main Event all trying to score the win. Also at Invasion, The Dreadnaught Memorial Cup will be decided as all competitors will enter into a series of special matches in route to the finals which will be fought in a Cirrius Cell Match.
Feb 2, 2123: Holovison Title Tournament:
The Main Event beat US Male Vidtek Pinned Payback
In the finals, The Main Event defeated Vidtek to capture the Holovision Title.
The Troubleshooters put down Titan Energy Retribution Pinned Nosfera, but after the match, Tricks attacked Retribution and injured him for 4 cards. Patch scored an upset victory over Endgame. Afterwards, Endgame showed some serious emotions for losing to Patch. Swarm defeated Havoc by disqualification, after Havoc put him through a table. In the Main Event, the Master Race also beat the Gladiators by disqualification. The Gladiators cleared the ring after the match, vowing to destroy them next time they meet.
Feb 9, 2123 Plethador challenged Tricks to get some revenge for the attack on Retribution, which the clown abided. Tricks destroyed Plethador and made the starfish submit. After the bell, he attacked Plethador and injured him for 5 cards. American Guy pinned US Male The Jungle Nights beat the Circus Strongmen by DQ. In a non-title match, Divided we Fall and the team of Anivar/Tauran went to a double disqualification. Both teams agreed to a rematch next show with the titles on the line. Havoc pinned Disaster to retain the Interplanetary title continuing the Aethran's bad luck, The Master Race defeated the Gladiators by pinfall. Endgame, gaining some measure of revenge, pinned Patch in a rematch from last week. Wolf beat Sly Drury by DQ. The Main Event pinned Valor to remain undefeated. The Main Event of the eventing saw Monolith beat Killprey by disqualification. After the match, Wolf hit the ring and Monolith took a powder before any contact could take place.
Feb 16, 2123 American Guy again defeated US Male by pinfall. The Main Event pinned Payback to retain the Holovision Championship. Divided We Fall beat Anivar/Tauran, keeping the grip they hold on the Tag Titles. Swarm pinned Nosfera. Endgame repeated his feat from last week and got Patch to submit. Endgame is up 2-1 in this feud that's heating up. The Gladiators pinned the Master Race in another rematch from last week. Monolith and Sly Drury defeated Wolf and Killprey in the Main Event of the night. Monolith and Drury stood tall in the ring after the match.
Feb 23, 2123 GWF: INVASION PPV DREADNAUGHT MEMORIAL CUP Tournament: All matches are random draws and "spin the wheel, make the deal" stipulations. For some context on how rough the matches were, the total number of pin tokens will be shown after the winning wrestlers' name. Paralyze was last years' winner.
Opening round: Paralyze (+2) beat Nosfera in a chain match. Payback (+1) downed an already inquired Retribution in a Titan Death Match The Betrayer (+5) shocked Anivar in a Falls Count Anywhere match American Guy (+0) dominated Patch in a Street Fight.
Quarter Finals: Paralyze(+4) secured his spot in the finals by taking out Payback in a Coliseum Death Match American Guy (+9}, beaten and bloody, defeated the Betrayer in an Adamantium Fists Match. This was by far the most brutal match of the night.
Finals: In what can be the most shocking moment of the night, and something not seen since the legendary Hell in a Cell match from 1998, American Guy shocks the galaxy by throwing Paralyze off the top of the cell only moments after the match began! The referees and medical teams stopped the contest right then and there, taking last years winner out on a stretcher! American Guy wins the DREADNAUGHT CUP in the shortest final in GWF history. The Gladiator team has since vowed revenge against the American.
Other Matches: Swarm pinned The Main Event, winning the Holovision championship and handing the Main Event his first loss in the GWF. In the GWF tag team championship match, The Jungle Nights defeated Divided We Fall by Disqualification, but didn't win the titles. Killprey destroyed Havoc to win the Interplanetary Championship for a third time, hitting his finisher as a +5 3 times in the contest. In the main event, Wolf defeated Monolith by DQ. Wolf will get a rematch on the next card.
As March nears, The federation is feeling it's first taste of the IRON HAND'S ruling fist, having ousted Massif as commissioner. The feud between Wolf and Monolith is heating up, as is Endgame vs. Patch. The Animen look to gain revenge against the Circus, and the Gladiators are on the warpath due to American Guy tossing Paralyze off the cage. Paralyze, to his credit was only injured for 4 cards, but his pride will be hurt for much longer, having been taken out on a stretcher after the contest and sees this as an ultimate humiliation.
In other news, there have been rumblings that the GWF's rival promotion, the CPC is having financial troubles and will possibly go into default, or perhaps change their format to a more mixed martial arts style of contests. The rumors we've heard have been all over the place! More on this news as it develops.
On a more personal note, it's good to be back rolling the dice. My fed has sat idle since 2119 and I am finding my footing running a fed once again.

March 2123 recap
As March rolls in, Monolith, while still fending off the challenge from Wolf, sees a new challenger enter the fight; none other than Tauran! On the Interplanetary front, Havoc seeks to regain the championship from the man he lost it to at Invasion, Killprey. Swarm continues his Holovision championship run, meeting the advances of the Main Event, and the Tag Team Champions, Divided We Fall, see would be contenders coming out of the woodwork.
The Ani-Men/Greatest Show feud continues to boil over, as does the fallout from American Guy injuring Paralyze during the finals of the Dreadnaught cup when American Guy threw the Gladiator off the top of the cell. Patch and Endgame continue to do battle as Patch seeks to even the score on the GWF's most prominent hero. These roads will all meet at War Games at the end of the month.
March 5th, 2123 Titan Energy went over the Circus Strongmen Rage, seeking revenge against American Guy, called him out to the ring for a match. Instead, Sly Drury came to the ring and accepted on his behalf. Rage defeated Sly Drury by DQ, after Sly blasted him with a chair, only enraging the Gladiators further. Divided We Fall submitted the Jungle Knights to retain the tag team championships. US Male submitted to Tricks Swarm defeated the Main Event by pinfall to hold on to the Holovision Championship Havoc, in his return match for the Interplanetary Championship, pinned Killprey with some help from the Dark Menace, to regain the belt. Vidtek pinned Valor In the main event, GWF Champion Monolith pinned Wolf.
March 12th, 2123 Disaster pinned the Main Event Holovision Champion Swarm beat the Betrayer by disqualification Endgame once again defeated Patch by pinfall In a number one contenders match, the Troubleshooters won over the Master Race by DQ. Panther Warrior got a measure of revenge against Tricks, pinning him in the center of the ring. After the match, Panther Warrior continues to beat down Tricks, injuring him for 5 cards. In retaliation, Iron Hand suspended Panther Warrior for 6 cards. Payback pinned Nosfera Rage, finally getting American Guy in the ring, came up short against his rival as American Guy fended off the crazed Aethran before getting the pinfall victory. This was a brutal match! In the Main Event, Killprey defeated the Interplanetary champion Havoc by disqualification after the Dark Menace interfered.
March 19th, 2123 Endgame teamed with US Male to take down Patch and Vidtek by pinfall In a rematch with the #1 contendership on the line, The Troubleshooters again defeated the Master Race, this time by pinfall. They will meet Divided We Fall at Wargames. Swarm defended his Holovision championship against the Betrayer again, and as last time, defeated him by pinfall. Rage and Disaster teamed up to meet Sly Drury and American Guy in a tag team match. The Gladiators defeated Sly and Guy. Havoc and Killprey again met for the Interplanetary title, with Havoc again coming out on top, and again with the help of the Dark Menace. After the match, Havoc attacked his rival and injuried him for 6 cards. There was no suspension for Havoc. The Main Event pinned Nitro in his singles debut. Monolith challenged anyone in the back to come take the GWF title from him. The challenge was answered by Tauran! The two met in a contest that set the wrestling universe on fire as Tauran shocked Monolith out of the gate and *nearly...nearly* shocked the champion and the universe for the belt. Monolith weathered the storm and eventually hit his finisher on the young veteran. Before the champion could make the cover and secure the victory, a group of three masked men, pipes in hand, jumped the barricade and attacked the champion from behind, earning a disqualification victory for the Ani-man. The three men escaped security, and disappeared into the crowd. Monolith, although not admitting it, was injuried for one fight card, but with the next card being War Games, how would the champ fare? (On a side note, this was a fantastic match to roll. Tauran hit his finisher right out of the gate and had Monolith reeling for the first few minutes, and stayed competitive throughout the bout. Match of the year candidate.)
March 26th. 2123 WAR GAMES PPV Wolf defeated Nosfera by Disqualification US Male pinned Vidtek The Circus Strongmen and Malkuth/Retribution went to a double disqualification, further heating the feud. Disaster went over Sly Drury by DQ after the Dark Menace interfered, further driving the Gladiator/Outlaw Nation feud. In a Street Suicide Match, Endgame beat Patch by disqualification In what could be considered an upset by some, the Troubleshooters beat Divided We Fall to with the Tag Team Championships. This is the Troubleshooters' 7th reign as champions since 2112. The Main Event pinned Nitro In another shocker, American Guy unseated Swarm to win the Holovision Championship. This is American Guy's first Holovision Championship reign. Interplanetary Champion Havoc pinned Payback to retain the championship In the main event, the GWF Champion Monolith challenged Tauran to take his championship again. After another incredible match, the results were the same as last week, with Monolith getting the Disqualification victory over Tauran, although the sleeper cell were not involved. Tauran, in his excitement, got himself disqualified outside the ring. Something tells me this feud is just starting.
As we look to April 2123, the MEGATOURNAMENT looms large in the headlights. The Megatournament starts off as 8 randomly selected teams of 4 men, with the winners team breaking into two tag teams afterwards. Those two teams face off with the winning pair moving onto the next round. The pair will meet in a one on one contest with the winner making it to the final 4. The final 4 will have on on one tournament matches until there is only one winner left. The Megatournament champion! This is one of the most exciting PPV's in the GWF and has only been won by Thraxx in 2120 and Bloodline in 2121, and wasn't held in 2122 due to the galactic shutdown. Who will win the Megatournament in 2123? We will find out next month!
