Very unfortunate that a main event with so much potential failed to deliver... Hopefully, we get a little more when Fabulous Moolah defends against Sensational Sherri... Fun times!

LOW 29: Booker Bill Presents Legends of Wrestling – Kowalski v. Gotch
“Iron” Mike DiBiase v. Les Thatcher Thatcher has control early on. Kick to the jaw changes that. DiBiase with snap mares. Thatcher back with a surfboard. Series of dropkicks gets a two count from James Beard. DiBiase is on the defensive. Body slam is countered. Trade rebounds into back elbow. Flying head scissors downs DIBiase for a 2 ¾. Counters back and forth. DiBiase with series of punches. Back and forth. DiBiase overpowers. Thatcher back with his speed. Arm twist and hair pull from DiBiase. TOP ROPE KNEE TO BACK. ONE COUNT ONLY. DiBiase back to the top . .. TOP ROPE KNEE TO BACK. 1, 2, SHOULDER UP! Thatcher picks it up. ROARING. Series of punches stops him. Abdominal stretch wears out Thatcher. Thatcher catches DiBiase with a surfboard. STUMP PULLER. DiBiase refuses to give in. Abdominal stretch locked in. Series of dropkicks down DiBiase. Cover for 2 ¾! THOUGHT IT WAS OVER!!! Suplexes, forearms and dropkicks rock DiBiase. Another surfboard locked in. Flying body press. 1, 2, 3. Winner: Thatcher. ****
Johnny Valentine v. Jack Brisco Morgan Dollar has strict instructions. Encounter was originally booked for card 12. Brisco sets the pace early. Valentine with a tackle. Forearm hammer for a ½ count. Valentine goes to the top . . . Brisco slams him to the mat. FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. That is it! Winner: Jack Brisco *
Ted DiBiase appears on the “Press Conference” with Bill Apter accompanied by Virgil. DiBiase is more than pleased for himself by “earning” a title shot as part of the upcoming Battle for the Belts event. Suddenly Andre The Giant comes out. DiBiase manages to get out of the way but Virgil takes a head butt. This allows DiBiase to smash Andre with a chair across the back. The brawl is on and security is needed. Booker Bill comes out and makes a match between DiBiase & Andre right now!
Ted DiBiase w/Virgil v. Andre The Giant DiBiase efforts to send the Giant in the ropes end up with a giant sized bear hug. Sitdown splash. 1, 2, kick out. Andre takes it outside. Noggin knocker with Virgil! Back to the floor. DiBiase ducks Andre’s chop . . . HAND OFF THE RINGPOST!!! DIBiase with second rope axe-handle. It does nothing. Andre controls. Andre misses an elbow drop. DiBiase cannot get anything going. Another elbow drop misses. DiBiase is jointed by Virgil . . . Gut wrench suplex . . . RING SHAKING! Andre bails. Pulls DiBiase to the floor. Into the table. Andre back in control. Turnbuckle squashes. DiBiase bails. Andre out after him. Virgil distracts . . . DiBiase shoves Andre INTO THE RING POST! Andre is busted open. Back in the ring . . . POWER SLAM!!!!! OMG. ½ count only! COBRA CLUTCH. Blood flowing from the Giant. Andre escapes. Swinging neckbreaker blocked. DiBiase into the ropes. Backdrop countered with a piledriver. OMG! Virgil back in the ring again!!! Double Vertical suplex. COME ON REF! Cover for one! COBRA CLUTCH. Andre is down. Morgan Dollar calls for the bell! Winner: DiBiase ****
Nora Greenwald v. Trish Stratus Brief exchange. Greenwald avoids charge to the corner . . . roll up for one from James Beard. Greenwald climbs the corner . . . Slam to the mat! Stratus in control. Greenwald bounces out of the corner . . . CRACKED SKULLS! Stratus up first . . . Chick Kick. Greenwwald to the floor. Brawl! Greenwald with reverse headlock. Whip into the corner and kick. World Champion Killer Kowalski v. Frank Gotch Kowalski’s size proves a challenge for Gotch. Kowalski with brawling and biting. Gotch rebounded off the ropes. Both go for clothesline. Kowalski up first . . . climbs the corner . . . Gotch slams him to the mat. Gotch with headlock and trip. Gotch sends Kowalski into the ropes. Backdrop . . . countered with a piledriver. Gotch tossed outside. Three backbreakers in a row to Gotch. Dropkick spills Gotch to the floor. Kowalski outside . . . chokes Gotch with a mic cord! HEAT! Gotch tossed back to the floor. Trips over Dr. Mike Lano! Dropkick sends Gotch back to the floor. Back in the ring . . . KOWALSKI CLAW. Gotch escapes. Bombs Away. Backbreaker. Iowa backdrop from Gotch out of nowhere!!! Gotch grinds away. Kowalski reverses whip to corner . . . crushing clothesline. Giant Swing. Gotch avoids body drop to leg. Stomps from the champion. Kowalski countering. Dibiase's victory over Andre the main talking point of the card but the 'Iron' Mike Dibiase vs Les Thatcher seemed like a heck of a match.

LOW 30: Booker Bill Presents Legends of Wrestling – Battle for the Belts
No. 1 Contenders Battle Royal: Shane Douglas, Rob Van Dam, Billy Wicks, Great Gama, Scott Taylor, Dick Hutton, Eric the Red, Konnan, Rick McCord, Jack Brisco, Dirty White Boy, Fit Finlay, Rocky Kernodle, Big John Studd, Marty Jannetty, Don Curtis, Angelo Poffo, Ken Shamrock, Bob Backlund, Dutch Savage Greg Valentine cannot make the event and Konnan appears in his place. Four officials are posted at ringside to call the eliminations. Taylor gets the best of Hutton until the action goes to the floor. Wicks catches Backlund in a DOUBLE WRISTLOCK and then dumps him over the top (#1). Red backdrops Dutch Savage to the floor seconds later (#2). Mccord controls against Finlay. Van Dam crushes Curtis with a Van Daminator! Jack Bisco is on the defensive against Great Gama but a backdrop eliminates the powerhouse from India (#3). Poffo out smarts Konnan and dumps him to the floor after a missed charge to the corner (#4). Kernodle stuns the fans with a dropkick that dumps Shamrock from contention (#5). Dirty White Boy hits Jannetty with thee BUCKSNORT BLASTERS but cannot get him over the ropes to the floor! Studd muscles out Douglas (#6). Brisco tangles with Jannetty. Wicks dumps out Curtis from behind (#7). Taylor breaks out the WORM and eliminates Hutton (#8). Jannetty prevents Mccord from being tossed out by Dirty White Boy. Jannetty then takes the fight to Dirty White Boy ending with a ROCKER DROPER and a toss to the floor (#9). Mccord is back in trouble after another WORM from Taylor but this time Jannetty comes to his aid and mistakenly knocked Mccord to the floor (#10). Taylor treats the fans to a third WORM and Jannetty’s night is over (#11). Jack Brisco backdrops Poffo to the floor (#12). Studd just launches Kernodle over the top (#13). Van Dam crushes Red with a Van Daminator and the flips him over the top rope (#14). Brisco and Wicks counter. Finlay hits a knee that sends Van Dam to the floor (#15). Finlay moves onto to Taylor and after a piledriver, Taylor is tossed over the top (#16). Brisco battles Wicks and uses a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to weaken him enough to toss him out of the match (#17). Studd comes after Brisco but Brisco is ready with a suplex assortment . . . ROARING! Brisco dropkicks Studd over the ropes (#18). Finlay attacks Brisco from behind. TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. Brisco hangs on. Rolling Hills. Finlay in complete control. Fireman’s carry hot shot. Brisco is tossed to the floor (#19). Winner: Fit Finlay. ***

Martel sends Moolah to the floor after a forearm smash and clothesline. Back inside. TOP ROPE SPLASH from Martel. 1, 2, kick out. Martel attempts a camel clutch . . . SMALL PACKAGE counter. One count only from Joey Marella. JACKKNIFE CRADLE for one. Boston Crab slows it down. Knee lift stuns. Dropkick from Moolah. 1, 2, 3 (Snake Eyes!). Winner: Fabulous Moolah **

Body slam to Fulton gets a one count from Morgan Dollar. Fantastics with quick tags Double back body drop to both Russians. Rogers uses his speed to frustrate Koloff. More double teaming from the Fantastics. Rogers dropkicks Koloff to the floor. Russian trips over Dr. Mike Lano. Koloff spilled outside again by dropkicks. ROARING. Brawl on the floor.
