I had a great time going to Wrestlefest last night. Thanks to Tournament Master for picking me up at my hotel and then driving me back afterward! Connecticut is well known for their pizza and we had some really good pizza before last night’s show. At the show, I got my Sammy Guevara and JT Dunn cards autographed. The best match last night was Dunn vs Takeshita. Today I slept in (red eye flight on Friday night) and I am currently in Hartford about to go on a tour of Mark Twain’s house. Tomorrow I go to a new state, Rhode Island, but not sure how I am getting there yet (either rental car, train, or bus.)

What about hot air balloon. I mean it is New England, they travel by hot air balloon as well, don't they?  |

Oh yeah, Stu, History is my field and I enjoyed going to the Mark Twain house today. I also saw the outside of the house of his neighbor Harriet Beecher Stowe but I did not go into her house as it was toward the end of the day for tours. When I went to Virginia City, Nevada in the Summer of 2020 as part of my trip to Reno that Summer, there was a Mark Twain exhibit and video there in one of the museums as he lived in Virginia City for awhile at one point. |

What about hot air balloon. I mean it is New England, they travel by hot air balloon as well, don't they? Well, I believe I have a rental car that I pick up tomorrow morning which is preferable than the train, bus, etc as it gives me more flexibility. I was supposed to have a rental car already but I had to cancel it yesterday because the woman at the Budget counter at the Hartford airport wanted me to pay about twice what I had agreed to pay when I made the reservation online. She also tried to get me to upgrade to an SUV saying it was necessary because it was supposed to snow in Hartford the next two days. She got mad at me though when I showed the actual weather forecast on my phone which had highs in the 40s and clear skies. It has not snowed here the last two days and that makes me question why she was trying to basically double my bill even before trying to get me to rent the more expensive SUV. I got a bigger rental car for the next two days at Enterprise for about 10% of what I would have paid on Saturday if I had agreed to the amount the woman at Budget was trying to get me to pay for a smaller car. |

I got the rental car with no problem and then drove to Rhode Island today.
I am walking around downtown Providence and it is obvious I am not in Nevada, this place is different.
I stopped at a tavern for a beer and then I am heading to Monday Night RAW.

I sort of feel foolish. I was thinking I had to get to the arena by 5 because in Las Vegas, with PST, RAW live is always at 5. But being in Rhode Island tonight, the show does not start until 8 so I am staying at this downtown Providence bar for another glass. I think I prefer the local 5 PM start time.
