Ozark Mountain Wrestling 1.5
Jim Cornette and Gordon Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Magnum TA vs. Dutch Mantell. Solie wonders if Magnum is 100% going into this match. Cornette also mentions we’ll see a rematch between Bob Armstrong and Larry Sharpe stemming from last week. Solie introduces the first match.
1. The Patriot vs. Johnny Mantell
Johnny dominates the Patriot in the early minutes. The Patriot makes a comeback and nails Johnny with a standing dropkick for a two count. The Patriot rocks Mantell with the Uncle Slam and hits a Patriot Missile for the win.
Winner - The Patriot by pinfall
Solie puts over the much needed win by the Patriot. Cornette introduces the next match and wonders if Armstrong can get it done this time.
2. Bob Armstrong vs. Larry Sharpe
The match quickly spills out of the ring. Sharpe nails Armstrong with a chair, busting him open. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Bob Armstrong by DQ
Cornette shakes his head. Solie says Larry Sharpe has it in for Bob Armstrong and introduces the next match.
3. Mikey Whipwreck vs. Kevin Sullivan
Sullivan and Mikey battle all over the ring area. Sullivan locks Mikey in the Boston Crab and Mikey taps out.
Winner - Kevin Sullivan by submission
Sullivan refuses to release the hold. Jimmy Valiant comes out of the crowd and attacks Sullvian. The two men brawl until security pulls them apart. Once order is restored, Cornette and Solie introduce the main event.
4. Magnum TA vs. Dutch Mantell
Magnum TA will not be denied! Dutch gets in some offense but Magnum knocks him senseless with a running forearm and hits the belly to belly suplex for the win.
Winner - Magnum TA by pinfall
Magnum takes the mic and says if Terry Gordy doesn’t wrestle him for the belt next week, Magnum will find him in a parking lot somewhere. Solie and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week.

Jim Cornette and Gordon Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Terry Gordy vs. Magnum TA with the Ozark Mountain Wrestling Heavyweight championship on the line.
1. Chris Candido vs. Larry Sharpe
Sharpe and Candido battle back and forth. Candido hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Candido hits the Blond Bomb for the win.
Winner - Chris Candido by pinfall
Candido jumps the rail and takes a seat in the front row for the next match. Solie says Candido vs. Wicks in a ⅔ falls match is slated for two weeks from tonight and both men are looking forward to it. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Billy Wicks vs. Johnny Mantell
Mantell overpowers Wicks in the early minutes. Wicks rolls Mantell up for a two count after a missed turnbuckle charge to turn things around. Wicks locks on the double wristlock and Mantell taps out.
Winner - Billy Wicks by submission
Wicks and Candido get into a staredown as Wicks goes to the back but the referee gets between them and herds Wicks on his way. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Al Snow vs. Doug Gilbert
Gilbert roughs up Snow at the bell. Snow plants Gilbert with a seated spinebuster and smashes him with Head for a two count. Snow and Gilbert brawl outside the ring. Gilbert smashes Snow with Head and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Al Snow by DQ
Gilbert hits Snow with a low blow and escapes with Head through the crowd after the match. After the match, Snow is freaking out when Kevin Sullivan comes from the locker room and helps Snow to the back. Cornette says that can’t be good. Solie introduces the next match, a rematch five weeks in the making.
4. Terry Gordy vs. Magnum TA - OMW Heavyweight championship
Gordy and Magnum come out swinging, battling back and forth. Gordy crushes Magnum in the corner and hits a Bamm Bamm Slam for a two count. Gordy hits an Oriental Spike but can’t put Magnum away. Magnum tries making a comeback but Gordy squashes him with a lariat. Gordy hits the Samoan Drop for the win.
Winner - Terry Gordy by pinfall, his second title defense
Cornette and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Jimmy Valiant vs. Kevin Sullivan in the main event!

No hot potatoes here! Wicks vs. Candido is one of the two ideas I had when I started. Something something Kevin Sullivan was the other one. |
