Ozark Mountain Wrestling 1.7
Jim Cornette and Gordon Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, a rematch between Jimmy Valiant and Kevin Sullivan. Solie says that Magnum TA is taking a couple weeks off to heal up after last week’s crushing defeat at the hands of Terry Gordy. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Tony Anthony Vs. Ranger Ross
Ranger Ross gets the advantage at the bell and rocks Anthony with some karate kicks for a two count. Ross hits a top rope flying body press for a two count. Ross goes for a top rope splash but Anthony gets his knees up. Anthony takes over but Ross soon nails him with more karate kicks for a two count. Anthony and Ross battle back and forth. Anthony hits the Bucksnort Blaster for the win.
Winner - Tony Anthony by pinfall
Cornette says Ranger Ross really made Anthony work for it. Solie says Ozark Mountain Wrestling received a tape in the mail this morning from Kevin Sullivan. Solie cautions viewers they may find it disturbing and rolls the footage.
A shaky camera shows Kevin Sullivan and Al Snow on a mountain top somewhere in the Ozarks. Sullivan says Snow had the key to awakening the Great Old One beneath the mountains but he lost it. When they get it back, Jimmy Valiant and all of Ozark Mountain Wrestling will pay the price! Snow and Sullivan laugh maniacally until the tape runs out.
Cornette is aghast and introduces the next match.
2. Masked Superstar Vs. Tugboat Taylor
Superstar and Tugboat battle back and forth. Superstar locks on the Cobra Hold but Tugboat grabs the rope, forcing the rope break. Tugboat makes a comeback and hits the Anchor Drop for a two count. Tugboat hits a second Anchor Drop for the win.
Winner - Tugboat Taylor by pinfall
Solie puts over Tugboat Taylor but Cornette isn’t impressed. Solie introduces the next match, promising a wild one.
3. Prince Kharis vs. Eric the Red
Eric and Kharis battle back and forth. Kharis hits the Magical Mummy Forearm but Eric kicks out. Eric makes a comeback and nails Kharis with the bone. Eric hits a clumsy crossbody from the top for the three count.
Winner - Eric the Red by pinfall
Solie says Eric wouldn’t have won without hitting Kharis with the bone. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Jimmy Valiant vs. Kevin Sullivan with Al Snow
Valiant and Sullivan battle back and forth. Al Snow gets on the apron and Sullivan nails Valiant with the golden spike while the referee’s back is turned. Sullivan hits the double foot stomp for the win.
Winner - Kevin Sullivan by pinfall
Sullivan orders Snow to help him double team Jimmy Valiant. Sullivan and Snow work over Valiant until Tugboat Taylor and Prince Kharis make the save. Solie and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Billy Wicks vs. Chris Candido, ⅔ falls.
