Been a while since I chimed in, another fun episode. Loved the varied perspectives from a weekly in-house vet to a relative NOOB. I was a Memphis follower via the magazines and loved it when I got a chance to see them on TV or tape...it really was some incredible stuff!

Most of what I saw back in the day was just from magazines but when I was about 10 or so we went to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a friend of the families wedding. While there I got to watch the TV show for the first time. Only real thing I remember was seeing Don Bass for the first time and Jerry Lawler referring to him as Don Ass.

That is a great moment, Nature Boi! A brief clip of the axe slicing was part of a Jos LeDuc music video set to a song called "I Wanna Fight" that was also on the aforementioned Rock 'n Roll Wrestling VHS that Chad had. The same music video showed LeDuc tossing Lawler over the top rope and onto the announcers' table at the Mid-South Coliseum. The video paused as Lawler hit the table, which queued up well with the song. Cool stuff!  |

I listened to the podcast yesterday while working on some projects around the house. Memphis is a big blank spot of my wrestling knowledge so I loved hearing all 4 of you talk about some of your favorite moments. You all had unique and differing perspectives on the territory and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all of it!
