Which format do you prefer for a tag team battle royal: double elimination (where both members have to be tossed) or single elimination (where the team is eliminated if either partner is)?

I always do single elimination, makes it more interesting for a shock win ?

Double......more interesting to see how long one guy can avoid being tossed once his partner is gone.

I've always done single elimination. That's the way I first saw it on TV.

I think it could be argued that it depends on the number of teams. If you have nine or fewer teams, go double elimination, if you have ten or more teams, single elimination.

interesting, I actually just played and posted a tag team battle royal (for the 64th/final spot in my VIU CUp tag team tournament) on Tuesday/2 days ago,
I personally prefer to use double eliminations as I never liked or understood when I watched WWF tag team battle royals in the 1980s as a kid why one person of a tag team was out of the battle royal just because their partner got eliminated.
However, during a tag team battle royal in my feds, if one member of a tag team gets eliminated, I roll up on offense if a tag move gets rolled on during the battle royal as it is not possible to do that tag move if the other member of the tag team has been eliminated from the match.
