"Alternate Prime"?

So several threads have been hijacked about the whole "who to include", "why another alternate and not a new name?" and the same old (yet valid) discussions...on one of them, someone mentioned wanting new names of any sort over the bulk of the alternate personas... Has it ever been tossed around to do an "Alternate Prime" or something like that... wouldn't have to be the same number of releases as the others (though it probably could), but would be a great way to let the people who like and want all the eras and personas of someone get their fix and would reduce the "disappointment" for people who don't want a 3rd Brutus or Greg... would also allow a better clearing of the backlog (which sounds like its a bit built up)... Anywho, just a thought

Excellent topic... As much as I enjoy the alternate versions for different wrestler personas, it's difficult to imagine that a number of wrestlers have yet to be released in any manner at all... No, I definitely do not support the idea that new signings should be stopped until the backlog is cleared -- This just makes no sense from a business or creative standpoint... But, I do think there should be a greater focus on releasing wrestlers that have not received a color card (or any card at all) than putting out alternate versions for wrestlers that are already in the game.
