“Hello and welcome to Appalachian Championship Wrestling. I’m Gordon Solie, and we’ve got an incredible show for everyone tonight. We’ll see the debut’s of Superstar Bill Dundee as he faces Dr. X., and Adorable Adrian Adonis facing the always tough, George South. The Red Army will be here, as their hired gun, Abdullah the Butcher takes on Ranger Ross, and our main event will see Baron Von Raschke face Team U.S.A. member, Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Let’s go to the ring for our opening match.”
Adorable Adrian Adonis vs George South
Adrian Adonis defeats George South by referee stoppage at 5:32, after applying his Goodnight Irene finisher.
“Adrian Adonis gets his first win in ACW. No matter what you think about the Adorable one, he’s one tough competitor in the ring. It’s only a matter of time before he sets his sights on ACW gold. Up next, Superstar Bill Dundee takes on Dr. X. Let’s go back over to the ring.”

Dr. X defeats Bill Dundee via count out at 8:12.
Match notes:
Dr. X used a foreign object to weaken Dundee, and then tossed him out of the ring. After tossing Dundee out of the ring, Dr. X climbed up to the top turnbuckle, and appeared to stuff something into his elbow pad, before jumping off and driving his elbow down on top of a recovering Dundee’s head, knocking Dundee out for the count.
“Dr. X gets away with another tainted win. I’ll bet money he hasn’t seen the last of Superstar Bill Dundee. Up next, we’ll see Dr. X’s partner, The Spoiler take on Brad Armstrong in a return match from a couple of weeks ago, when Armstrong ended the masked man’s win streak. Let’s go back over to the ring.”

Brad Armstrong defeats the Spoiler by pinfall at 7:57, after hitting his Russian Leg Sweep finisher.
Match notes:
After the match, Dr. X comes out and helps the Spoiler attack Armstrong. As the two masked men attack, a recovered Bill Dundee comes out and saves Armstrong. As the masked men retreat, a heated Dundee challenges them to a tag team match with him and Brad Armstrong at the Wrestlepalooza Super Show.
“Thankfully Dundee came out and stopped the beating. He and Armstrong will have their work cut out for them, as the Spoiler and Dr. X will use every dirty trick in the book to try to win. Up next is the first of two matches pitting the Red Army against Team U.S.A. as Ranger Ross takes on the madman from the Sudan, Abdullah the Butcher. Let’s go back over to the ring.”

Abdullah the Butcher defeats Ranger Ross by pinfall at 8:41, after hitting his Sudanese Meat Cleaver finisher.
Match notes: Abdullah used illegal throat thrusts and a foreign object multiple times to set Ross up for his finisher. After the match, Baron Von Raschke attacked forcing Hacksaw Jim Duggan to make the save. Ross is injured for 2 cards, knocking him out of Wrestlepalooza.
“I’m getting word that Ross is being attended to in the back. We’ve got a fired up Hacksaw Duggan in the ring, staring down the evil Baron. Let’s get back to the action.”

Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeats Baron Von Raschke by disqualification at 7:37, after Abdullah the Butcher interfered in the match.
Match notes: This was a brawl. Both men got their finishers off, but couldn’t put the other away. Abdullah’s interference forced the referee to disqualify the Baron.
“Wait a moment. I’m being joined at the podium by Commissioner Theodore Long.”
Long: “This war has to end. The Red Army and Team U.S.A. has been battling in ACW for well over a year. It’s time for this war to end, and I can’t think of a better way to end it than in WAR GAMES!! It will be Baron Von Raschke, Abdullah the Butcher, and Alexis Smirnoff from the Red Army taking on Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Patriot, and a partner of their choice since Ranger Ross’s injury will prevent him from being at Wrestlepalooza. Now, Can you dig that playa?”
