Commentary: Ian Riccaboni and Nigel McGuinness

Moustache Mountain come out onto the stage to open the show. They want to challenge the Briscoes at Global Wars, but they are interrupted by Aussie Open. Kyle Fletcher tells them one win doesn't make you the top team around here. But, the winners of their match next will get to challenge for the World Tag Team Championship in the UK.

Tyler Bate gets singled out and Aussie Open pick up the win with Fidget Spinner

Ian Riccaboni announces on commentary that eight men have been hand picked to compete to for a World Television Title shot in the coming weeks, with the eventual winner getting the first shot after Global Wars.

TV Title Contender Tournament: Matt Taven def. Dalton Castle by pinfall
Taven gets the victory with Climax

Saraya Knight comes to the ring. She says that while she came up short in her Women's World Title match at Supercard of Honor, she will not do so again at Global Wars, in front of a home crowd. Knight says Angelina Love is scared of her, that she must resort to cheap attacks. Love and Mandy Leon come to the ring. Love says if Knight wants another chance for the title, she must first get through Leon.

Mandy Leon def. Saraya Knight by disqualification
Knight clearly has no interest in Love and Leon's games, the fight heads ringside where Love comes to get involved, but Knight quickly grabs a steel chair and repeatedly hits Leon with it, all the while staring Love dead in the eye. Referees have to run out to stop her before Leon is seriously injured.

TV Title Contender Tournament: Alex Koslov def. Tyler Black by pinfall
Black is poised to pick up a first round win, when SCUM emerge. Steve Corino distracts the ref and Steen and Jacobs carry out an assault on Black. They roll him back in the ring where Koslov gets the win with Contract Killer.

Promociones Dorado def. The Addiction and Bandido by pinfall
Rush hits the Rush Driver on Kazarian, with Del Sol ensuring Daniels is kept just out of reach from making the save.

Nice upset by Koslov even if it involved interference.

Must agree with our friend, TTX - By hook or by crook, taking Black out of the running for a TV title shot was a mighty accomplishment for Koslov... But, I still expect Taven to emerge as the number one contender when all is said and done... And all the Melvins can run home, crying to their Mamas... TRUTH!

I'm really enjoying Koslov picking up some wins, he's very much earned the win over Black, with or without the added assistance of SCUM

May - Week 1 - Year 1
Commentary: Ian Riccaboni and Nigel McGuinness

The show opens with Angelina Love in the ring. She says that due to the savage attack by Saraya Knight last week, Mandy Leon will be out for several weeks. Love says Ring of Honor management cannot expect their hottest commodity to set foot in the ring with a thug like Knight. Knight comes out onto the stage. She says Love may have ROH management fooled, she may have the crowd fooled, but she has not fooled her. Knight says Love is just as cold, just as calculating and just as ruthless - she put her "friend" in a vulnerable spot to protect her title. But, it hasn't worked, as she has just put pen to paper on a contract that will see Love defend her title at Global Wars, and there will be nowhere to run as it will be a chain match! Before she leaves, Knight has one more thing to add. She says if she fails to beat Love at Global Wars, she will never seek another shot at the Women's World Championship

TV Title Contender Tournament: Samuray Del Sol def. Kenny Omega by pinfall
Omega never truly gets into the match and Del Sol wins with the Del Sol Driver

Mercedes Martinez def. Penelope Ford and Ivelisse
Martinez hits Ford with a Fisherman Buster to end the match

Reno Scum def. Moustache Mountain by pinfall
The Scum Stomp on Tyler Bate gives Martini's men the victory

TV Title Contender Tournament: EJ Nduka w/Truth Martini def. Jimmy Jacobs by pinfall
Prior to the match starting Necro Butcher and Delirious come out onto the stage. But, EJ Nduka is keen to prove he doesn't need their help, and overcomes a railroad spike attack to get the win with The Verdict

TV Title Contender Tournament semi-final
Samuray Del Sol def. Matt Taven by pinfall
The Del Sol Driver sends Samuray Del Sol on to the finals of the tournament

Roderick Strong and Jay Lethal come to the ring and call out Sam Adonis. Lethal tells Adonis that he and Strong both know Truth Martini better than him and he only cares for one man, himself. Strong says Martini he knows Martini will have made him promises, but why then is EJ Nduka in the TV Title tournament and not Adonis? Lethal starts to suggest Nduka is actually the top guy in the House of Truth now and Adonis an afterthought, but Adonis cuts him off. He tells them both that their fake news isn't appreciated, that the House of Truth is so great now and they are making Ring of Honor great again. He tells Lethal and Strong they cannot divide the House of Truth and he knows his time will come. Lethal and Strong laugh at Adonis' delusion.

Team Sea Stars def. Su Yung and Courtney Rush by pinfall
Sea Stars hit the Flopping Fish on Yung to bring the match to a close

In a backstage interview, Christopher Daniels says he has spent a lot of time mulling over his situation with Rush. He says ROH management cannot expect him to just sit and watch while Rush defends the title he should be holding against a top star like Hiroshi Tanahashi. But, he says, instead of dealing with this properly, management have told him he has to prove his win was not a fluke before they will consider anything. So tonight, he will face Rush in a non-title Proving Ground match.

EJ Nduka w/Truth Martini def. Alex Koslov by pinfall
Nduka totally controls this one, but Koslov is resilient and it does take being hit with The Verdict multiple times before he finally goes down

Christopher Daniels def. Rush w/Promociones Dorado by pinfall
Daniels is fired up and doesn't allow Rush to ever get a proper foothold in the match. Salina de la Renta attempts to save her client, but it doesn't work and Daniels ends the match with Last Rites

Promociones Dorado meets the House Of Truth in the TV title top contender tournament... Explosive potential! And a very important win for the Fallen Angel... What impact will it have going forward? Fun stuff!
