“Hello and welcome to Appalachian Championship Wrestling’s Wrestlepalooza Super Show. I’m Gordon Solie, and we’re going to see an incredible show tonight! We’ve got 5 championship matches on deck. All 4 of ACW’s titles are on the line tonight, as well as a special international title match featuring Bruiser Brody taking on the Pacific Rim heavyweight champion, Antonio Inoki for the PRW heavyweight championship. Our main event will see the Red Army take on Team USA in a War Games match. Lets go to Gary Michael Capetta for the opening match announcements.
Opening Match
The Spoiler and Dr. X vs Superstar Bill Dundee and Brad Armstrong
The Spoiler and Dr. X defeat Dundee and Armstrong by disqualification at 7:43.
Match Notes:
After throwing the Dr. X out of the ring, Dundee followed, and started beating Dr. X mercilessly. Dundee failed to heed the referee’s warnings to stop his attack, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
Match 2
ACW Women’s Championship
Mildred Burke vs Sherri Martel(c)
Mildred Burke defeats Sherri Martel by submission at 5:54, after applying her Alligator Clutch finisher to become the new ACW Women’s Champion.
Match Notes:
Burke dominated this match, rarely allowing Martel any offense. After working Martel over in the corner, Burke locked on her finisher, forcing Martel to submit.

ACW Television Championship
Russian Chain Match
Ivan Koloff vs Sgt. Slaughter(c)
Sgt. Slaughter defeats Ivan Koloff to retain the ACW Television Championship at 13:24, after applying his Cobra Clutch finisher to Koloff, then touching all four turnbuckles to win the match.
Match notes:
This match was brutal. Both men used the chain to beat down the other. Each man hit their finisher at different times and made attempts to touch all four corners, only to be stopped. Finally, after some back and forth involving the chain, Slaughter finally locked on the Cobra Clutch to finally put Koloff down and touch all four corner turnbuckles for the win.

SPECIAL INTERNATIONAL TITLE MATCH
Pacific Rim Heavyweight Championship
Bruiser Brody vs Antonio Inoki(c)
Bruiser Brody defeats Antonio Inoki by pinfall at 12:32, after hitting his Jumping Knee Drop finisher to become the new PRW Heavyweight Champion.
Match notes:
These two had an average match. Lots of reversals and back and forth until Brody hit the Knee Drop to end it.
Match 5
ACW Tag Team Championships
The Bolsheviks (Volkoff and Zhukov) vs The James Gang(c)
The James Gang defeats The Bolsheviks by pinfall at 8:49, after Kip James hit Boris Zhukov with his Jumping Leg Drop finisher to secure the win and retain the ACW Tag Team Championships.
Match notes:
The James Gang dominated the Bolsheviks in this match. Volkoff got into trouble early with 4 fatigue tokens, using both pin saves early. After tagging in the fresh Zhukov, it looked as though the Bolsheviks had a chance to make a comeback, but after BG James made a defensive tag, Kip James entered the match and ended the Russian’s comeback chances and retained the ACW Tag Team Titles.

ACW Heavyweight Championship
Blackjack Mulligan vs Magnum T.A.(c)
Magnum T.A. defeats Blackjack Mulligan by pinfall at 12:31, after hitting his Belly to Belly Suplex finisher to retain the ACW Heavyweight Championship.
Match notes:
This match was incredible! Both men ended the match with 3 fatigue tokens a piece. Blackjack jumpstarted the match during Gary Michael Capetta’s introductions giving Mulligan an early advantage. Magnum eventually fought back, turning the tide, leading to his eventual victory.

Rick Rude with Big John Studd vs Magnum T.A.
Rick Rude defeats Magnum T.A. by pinfall at 6:56, after hitting his Rude Awakening finisher to secure the win. NEW ACW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!
Match notes:
After getting the win over Blackjack Mulligan, an exhausted Magnum T.A. didn’t get time to celebrate as Rick Rude’s music starts playing. Rude, along with his bodyguard Big John Studd make their way to the ring and cash in the Golden Opportunity* briefcase. Magnum had 3 fatigue tokens to start, and put up a great fight forcing Big John Studd to interfere and save Rude from being pinned after Magnum hit his Belly to Belly Suplex finisher. Studd’s distraction allowed Rude the chance to recover and hit the Rude Awakening to score the win to become the new ACW Heavyweight Champion!!

The Red Army (Baron Von Raschke, Abdullah the Butcher, Alexis Smirnoff) vs TEAM USA (Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Patriot and

Before the match starts, TEAM USA announces their replacement for the injured Ranger Ross.
Olympic gold medalist KURT ANGLE!!
Team USA defeats The Red Army by knockout at 32:22, after Hacksaw Jim Duggan hit his Flying Spear finisher on Alexis Smirnoff to secure the win.
Match notes:
The Red Army won the coin toss for the team advantage, and had Alexis Smirnoff start the match against the Patriot. After a 3 minute countdown, Abdullah entered the match for the Red Army. Next man in for Team USA was Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The last two in were Baron Von Raschke, and then Kurt Angle. The match ended with Hacksaw hitting Smirnoff with the Flying Spear, knocking him out, securing the win for Team USA.
