I was checking my checking account balance online yesterday and noticed the credit card from the bank was showing a balance. I had paid it off a long time ago and was using that card only for emergencies now so there should have been no balance. It was from some ticketing thing, and I had not ordered any tickets in a LONG time as I work all the time. It seemed my card was compromised. I went to get my card out of where I stored it to call the phone number on the back to report it had been compromised. As I was listening to the recording, I realized I had missed something when I saw the balance online. It was not red, meaning a charge, but green meaning it was a credit. I thought about it and realized what the hell was going on. Back in 2020 I had ordered a bunch of tickets for shows during WM week. Thanks to COVID the shows were all canceled of course. I had got refunds from all but one. I waited a bit and then contacted them to say I had not received my refund. They said they were working on it, and it would take a while. I did not realize it would take over three years. Better late than never as they say. Not really found money but in a way it is. I went from upset to being happy. Like the headline says, life is strange.

Today I received an email that my refund was being processed and I should receive it in 7-10 days. Of course the refund that comes 3 years later would have an email informing me of it a month after the actual refund. LMFAO
