18-Year-Old Billie Starkz Signs With AEW
Another promising up-and-comer is All Elite
Breakout independent wrestling star Billie Starkz has signed with All Elite Wrestling. The news was announced by AEW broadcaster Tony Schiavone on his What Happened When? podcast for AdFreeShows.
Starkz made her AEW debut in December 2022 and has wrestled six matches for the promotion. While competing on AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation, she's mixed it up with the likes of Britt Baker, Red Velvet, Yuka Sakazaki abd Toni Storm.
Last week, she made her national television debut at Battle of the Belts VI in a match against TBS Champion Jade Cargill. Despite a losing effort, Starkz had another impressive showing.
As seen below, she was excited to show the world what she's capable of and assured fans that we haven't seen the last of her in an AEW ring.

On the one hand, good for her, she'll make far more money than she would on the independent scene.
On the other hand, I worry it might stunt her growth especially as she'll likely become a Dark/Elevation regular.

Good for her! She was one of my favorites to watch in JCW/GCW! And I watched those matches on Dark, she did well. The sloppiest was against Jade, but she was really working hard that match, Jade made her earn that loss. Billie is one heck of a good worker, so I'm happy for her! Hopefully she can stay healthy!

I watched the match with Jade, and I figured it was only a matter of time before Tony Khan officially made Billie Starkz All Elite. Congratulations to another FG Indies Alumni!
