Handsome Harley Race proves once again that he's the greatest wrestler on God's green earth! RVD & Snuka bring new meaning to the phrase "flying high"!(Maybe I should team them up as High Flyers. Thanks for the idea, Bri!) Dan Severn will learn real soon that you never throw rocks at a man who has a machine gun! As they used to say on Sportscenter: You can't stop Danny Hodge & Bob Backlund...you can only hope to contain them! |

And I'm stoked for the upcoming cage match between Hot Rod and The Beast... You've hit the ground running, my friend... WOW! Mornin brother Pariah! Totally awesome to have you as a part of The GWA! This time around I really wanted (and needed) to keep this idea very straightforward and take all of us each week straight to bell time. Hit the ground running is exactly what I was shooting for here. Something hopefully fun but concise (for me), some of the old LXG posts were literally 12 times the size that these posts will be. The six sided bookers (as you say) have spoken, & Handsome Harley assumes the crown. Piper & Severn's cage bout I'm looking forward to as well, since their pin ratings drop - especially The Beasts from 3 to 1. Let's hope they give us our money's worth! Originally I was thinking that there would be (in addition to this Legends / Lotf version), a COTG GWA and a Indy GWA. But now that the coffee has worn off, I'm just going to stick to this one however - with some minor twists and turns here and there. But one thing at a time. Thank you very much for being in the seats, ever since my WIWF (What If Wrestling Federation)! I hear ya, I'm really digging Race's new color card (art wise as well but especially stat wise). He brings legitimacy to the title that's for sure. Originally I was only going to be using the LOW colorized starter set so Snuka and Van Dam just jumped out at me, but they are growing on me as a team. They are definitely going to have their work cut out for them facing Backlund & Hodge for the World Tag Straps. I like the contrast in styles between these two teams. Stoked about the Snuka / Van Dam inspiration my man. And many thanks for being a part of The GWA! |
