LTL Champions Tournament Season 1 Card 8
Curt Hennig vs. Randy Savage Randy Savage (5-1) defeated Curt Hennig (3-2) with a FLYING ELBOW DROP Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Curt Hennig has been eliminated.
Greg Valentine vs. Kurt Angle Kurt Angle (4-0) defeated Greg Valentine (3-1) with an ANKLE LOCK Match Rating: 1.50
Danny Spivey vs. Steve Regal Steve Regal defeated Danny Spivey with a Flash pin Match Rating: 2.50
Greg Valentine vs. Randy Savage Randy Savage (6-1) defeated Greg Valentine (3-2) with a FLYING ELBOW DROP Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Greg Valentine has been eliminated.
Curt Hennig and Randy Savage opened this one up with a barn burner. Neither competitor would give an inch, with Hennig taking most of the damage, but Savage finally wore down Hennig and nailed him with the Flying Elbow Drop. Unfortunately, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Kurt Angle was a lot less exciting, with Angle controlling much of the action and Valentine getting very little offensive control. "Golden Boy" Danny Spivey and "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal had a nice match, marred only by the quick roll up finish that occurred after Spivey charged Regal in the corner with a clothesline only to have Regal duck and slip behind Spivey for the pin. In the finale of the night, Randy Savage got revenge on Greg "The Hammer" Valentine for sending him to the loser's bracket. Valentine stood tough in the match, and it took Savage two consecutive Flying Elbow Drops to put Valentine away for good. Kurt Angle will face Randy Savage at Night of Eliminations to determine who will wear the LTL Championship belt. Savage will be at a disadvantage since he already has a loss on his record, so if Angle wins the first fall, Angle will be champ. Savage will need to win two consecutive falls to claim the title. Can Savage do it, or will Angle stand tall in the end?

Gorilla Monsoon vs. Gorgeous George Gorgeous George defeated Gorilla Monsoon with a ROLLING HIPLOCKS. Gorgeous George will replace Gorilla Monsoon in next season's tournament after a match in which the competitors were pretty evenly matched throughout. 2*
Harley Race vs. Lou Thesz Lou Thesz defeated Harley Race with a THESZ PRESS. In a match many thought would be more exciting than it turned out to be, Lou Thesz managed to earn a spot for next season's tournament with a victory over Harley Race. 2*
Bob Backlund vs. Buddy Rogers Bob Backlund defeated Buddy Rogers with an ATOMIC DROP. Bob Backlund retains his spot for next season's tournament by defeating Buddy Rogers in what turned out to be a lackluster match. 2*
Kurt Angle vs. Randy Savage for the LTL Championship Randy Savage defeated Kurt Angle with a FLYING ELBOW DROP to force a second fall. Kurt Angle defeated Randy Savage with an ANKLE LOCK. Randy Savage dominated the first fall, forcing a second fall. Kurt Angle dominated the second fall. Both falls happened quickly, and the match was overall disappointing since neither wrestler got in any offense when they were on the losing end of a fall. In the end, Kurt Angle is the inaugural LTL Champion! 1.5*

We move on to the Tag Team league. Based on the sets I currently have I have decided that a large double elimination tournament with the limited number of teams wouldn't be fun. Instead, I am going to a round robin league of 8 teams. To stay in the league going forward, a team must finish 4-3. In the inaugural season, the team with the best record will be automatically crowned champion. If there is a tie at the end of the season for the top spot, the teams tied will battle it out at Night of Eliminations 2. In subsequent seasons, the winner of the round robin will face off against the champions. For the inaugural season the roster looks like this:
Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) Love Brothers (Hartford & Reginald Love) Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey) Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) Rock n Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) The Vachons (Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon)

There should be some great matches in that Tag league. I really hope the Loves can pull off an upset or two. They've been the most fun to play in my fed.

One thing I love about Legends is all the great teams which is why I'm fond of running tournaments and round robins with them.

The first show the dice (or, should I say, online RNG) rolled a bunch of stinkers, though the Love Brothers got off to a good start.

LTL Tag League S1C10
Fantastics vs. Bockwinkel & Stevens Fantastics (Bobby Fulton) defeated Bockwinkel & Stevens (Ray Stevens) with a FANTASTIC FLIP. This could have been considered a squash match. After a short opening period of control on Bobby Fulton, Ray Stevens found himself isolated. The next thing anyone knew, Tommy Rogers pinned him for the quick win. .5*
Love Brothers vs. The Vachons Love Brothers (Reginald Love) defeated The Vachons (Mad Dog Vachon) with a Double Backbreaker. A back-and-forth match, however the Love Brothers had the majority of the pin attempts and put the Vachons away with a double team move. 1.5*
Midnight Express vs. Sheepherders Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey) defeated Sheepherders (Luke Williams) with a MIDNIGHT MASSACRE. The quick tagging Midnight Express worked over Luke Williams to get the win over the Sheepherders. Butch Miller watched helplessly from the apron, only getting into the ring when he had to save his partner. 1.25*
Road Warriors vs. Rock n Roll Express Rock n Roll Express (Ricky Morton) defeated Road Warriors (Animal) with a DQ. A horrible match in which Animal gets DQ'd for hitting Ricky Morton with a chair during a brawl on the floor. .25*
Current Standings
Fantastics 1-0 Love Brothers 1-0 Midnight Express 1-0 Rock n Roll Express 1-0 Bockwinkel & Stevens 0-1 Road Warriors 0-1 Sheepherders 0-1 The Vachons 0-1

LTL Tag Team League S1C11
Love Brothers vs. Midnight Express Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey) defeated Love Brothers (Hartford Love) with a Gut Wrench Suplex. A good match with everyone getting offensive opportunities, but the Love Brothers could not get the Midnight Express in any pinning predicaments. Dennis Condrey eventually ends the match by catching Hartford Love with a gut wrench suplex. 1*
Bockwinkel & Stevens vs. Sheepherders Bockwinkel & Stevens (Nick Bockwinkel) defeated Sheepherders (Luke Williams) by count out. This match had some action thanks to a few big moves by Nick Bockwinkel, but neither team could get close to a pin. Ending came when Bockwinkel threw Luke Willimas out of the ring and Williams hit the floor hard and appeared to be shaken up and couldn't get back in the ring to beat the 10 count. DUD
The Vachons vs. Rock n Roll Express Rock n Roll Express (Ricky Morton) defeated The Vachons (Mad Dog Vachon) with a Double Dropkick. The Rock n Roll Express take this one. Butcher Vachon broke up a pin attempt by Ricky Morton on Mad Dog but was escorted out of the ring by the ref, allowing Morton and Robert Gibson to blast Mad Dog with a double dropkick and pick up the win anyway. 1*
Fantastics vs. Road Warriors Fantastics (Tommy Rogers) defeated Road Warriors (Animal) with a ROCKET LAUNCHER. In a solid back and forth match, the Fantastics upset the Road Warriors when Bobby Fulton stops Hawk from making a crucial pin save after the Rocket Launcher. 2*
Current Standings
Fantastics 2-0 Midnight Express 2-0 Rock n Roll Express 2-0 Bockwinkel & Stevens 1-1 Love Brothers 1-1 Road Warriors 0-2 Sheepherders 0-2 The Vachons 0-2

LTL Tag Team League S1C12
Rock n Roll Express vs. Fantastics Fantastics (Bobby Fulton) defeated Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson) with a Right Hand Punch. A solid outing by two unbeaten teams at this point of the season. As you would expect between these teams, the match had pace and excitement. Ending came when Bobby Fulton punched the taste right out of Robert Gibson's mouth and Ricky Morton failed to make the pin save. 2*
Sheepherders vs. The Vachons The Vachons (Mad Dog Vachon) defeated Sheepherders (Butch Miller) with a Running Knee Lift. Very exciting match as the two teams try to get out of the cellar and avoid their third loss. The Sheepherders were in trouble early as Butch Miller could not find his footing, but finally settled in until the end of the match when he fell to a massive running knee lift. 2.5*
Midnight Express vs. Bockwinkel & Stevens Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton) defeated Bockwinkel & Stevens (Ray Stevens) with a Divorce Court. As would be expected from these two teams, this one was wild. A couple of all out brawls between the teams, a lot of back and forth, and some underhanded tactics as well. The ref showed a lot of restraint in not DQ'ing both teams. Bobby Eaton gets the pinfall on Ray Stevens for the win. 3*
Road Warriors vs. Love Brothers Road Warriors (Hawk) defeated Love Brothers (Hartford Love) with a Gorilla Press Slam. Hawk mauls Hartford Love and picks up a quick 1-2-3 in an extremely short match for the Road Warriors first win of the season. DUD
Current Standings
Fantastics 3-0 Midnight Express 3-0 Rock n Roll Express 2-1 Bockwinkel & Stevens 1-2 Love Brothers 1-2 Road Warriors 1-2 The Vachons 1-2 Sheepherders 0-3
