Buddy Rogers squashed Frogman LeBlanc with the Figure Four Grapevine.
Bob Backlund forced Thunderbolt Patterson to submit to the Crossface Chicken Wing. Backlund just took it to his sometimes tag partner and while Patterson escaped two Atomic Drops, he could not escape the Chicken Wing.

Bruiser Brody bested Lord Zoltan by disqualification when during a brawl on the floor, Zoltan shoved the referee into Brody and made a hasty escape.
Kurt Angle pinned Bob Backlund after reversing a flying cross body press and hooking the trunks for additional leverage. It was what you expected as it was excellent and Angle going a little cheap to secure the win.

Ranger Ross pinned Big Bully Busick after the Combat Kick.
Bob Backlund bested SGT Slaughter with the Atomic Drop. Slaughter dominated early and hitting a gutbuster for a pin attempt but Backlund quickly gained control on the floor and then hit the Atomic Drop to win.

Mike Rotunda thumped George South in two moves with the Butterfly Suplex.
In a great match, Bob Backlund put away Ken Shamrock with the Atomic Drop. This went back and forth with both men having chances to win. Shamrock nearly won with the Ankle Lock but Backlund fought back and reversed a deathjump into a nearfall before using the Atomic Drop to win.

Bob Armstrong pinned Mike McCord after the Russian Leg Sweep.
Bob Backlund finished off Mike Rotunda with the Rolling Backbridge. Rotunda got in a few good shots but Backlund's offense was just too much.

Abdullah the Butcher bested Kurt Angle by disqualification when Angle stole Butcher's pencil and jabbed him in the throat.
The Technicians cruised over The Sheepherders following the Atomic Drop on Miller. Miller tried a desperation deathjump only to get slammed to the mat. From there, Garea set up Miller for Backlund's Atomic Drop.

Ivan Koloff (MA) bested a scrappy Ric McCord with the Russian Sickle.
Bob Backlund finished off Nikita Koloff with the Atomic Drop. Koloff got an early attack and held offense for a while but in the end, Backlund would simply not be denied. Ivan Koloff tried to make an assist but Thunderbolt Patterson made the save.

Ken Shamrock forced The Trooper to submit to an Ankle Lock.
In a disappointing match, American Thunder bested The Koloffs when Backlund pinned Nikita with a cradle after Koloff missed a charge into the turnbuckle. Patterson never got into the ring as Nikita quickly finished himself off.
