The Gilberts knocked off PG-13 with a Doug Gilbert suplex on Wolfie D while hooking some trunks for leverage.

Bob Backlund interviewed with Gordon Solie before the match and Abdullah suddenly assaulted him. It did not last long as Backlund quickly gained control and went to work eventually busting Abdullah open. Late in the match, it looked like Abdullah would finally take control only for Backlund to quickly reverse a hair pull into the abdominal stretch. A head scissors nearly took the win before the Atomic Drop ended things.

Antonino Rocca came back to best Sputnik Monroe with a Series of Dropkicks. Rocca survived three Neckbreakers to come back for the win.

Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland) bested Gorilla Monsoon (with Wild Red Berry) after the Atomic Drop. Backlund dominated early with suplexes but Monsoon countered off the ropes with a piledriver. From there, he hurled himself off the top rope with a big splash that surprised Backlund. The match ended up on the floor where the referee warned Monsoon for his tactics. Eventually Backlund reversed a neck wrencher into the abdominal stretch and then lifted up Monsoon for the Atomic Drop. The referee ignored Red Berry and counted three.

Buddy Rose crushed Frogman LeBlanc with the Inside Backbreaker. Rose put the Frogman away in short order and challenged Snack Time to a future tag match.

Bob Backlund put away Tugboat Taylor in two moves with the Crossface Chicken Wing. With the fans roaring, Backlund got off to a hot start with a Boston Crab and quickly transitioned to the Chicken Wing and Taylor immediately submitted. (0 for everything)
