AJ Styles handled D'Lo Brown with the Styles Clash. Brown nearly pulled off an upset with the moonsault but Styles came back and hit the Clash as Brown kicked out one moment too late.
Bob Backlund and Arnold Skaaland (with Andre the Giant) bested Buddy Rogers and Wild Red Berry (with Gorilla Monsoon) when Backlund hit a flying cross body on Rogers for the three count. With Andre and Gorilla battling outside and Skaaland and Berry in one corner, Backlund came off the top to put Rogers down for the three count.

Skaaland chooses his allies wisely... And I'm hoping we get Backlund vs. AJ at some point... It would be PHENOMENAL!

Big John Studd finished off Tommy Gilbert with the Backbreaker and said he would challenge Backlund on the next event.
Bob Backlund overcame a hot start by Bob Armstrong to win with the Atomic Drop. Armstrong started quickly and hit a big suplex and then the Jawjacker for a long two count. Backlund slowly worked himself back into the match though and eventually dominated before catching Armstrong with the Atomic Drop for the three count.

Lanny Poffo did not want to stay down but once Terry Gordy caught him in the STF, he quickly submitted.
Bobby Heenan is so confident that Studd will prevail he challenges Backlund to make it two out of three falls as there is no way Backlund will win twice. Studd surprised Backlund with the Backbreaker. Backlund pinned Studd after the Atomic Drop. Backlund caught a bloody Studd in the Crossface Chicken Wing. (Backlund 2 fatiguue) (Studd 6 fatigue, bleeding, one near countout. Heenan two distractions, zero successful interference)

Heenan really throwing everything he's got at Backlund... Just to slow him down. Yikes!
Also, I really like how your including the enhanced stats with each match outcome -- near DQs, interference attempts, etc... All about the gameplay experience.
