After way too long, Mark Henry finally put away Keith Steinborn with the World's Strongest Slam.
Bob Backlund squashed Mike McCord with a piledriver. It was pretty much all Backlund here with one reversal on the floor by McCord which was quickly reversed back into Backlund control before the piledriver ended things.
(3 fatigue for McCord)

Jim Brunzell pinned Brickhouse Brown after the High Flying Dropkick.
Two out of Three Falls Match Bob Backlund bested John Pesek 2-0 Bob Backlund pinned John Pesek after the Atomic Drop. This was nearly all Backlund though he was almost disqualified after smashing Pesek into the ringpost. James Beard let it go though and Backlund eventually hit the Atomic Drop. Bob Backlund quickly put down John Pesek after an underhook suplex. It took two moves to finish off Pesek again as a delayed vertical suplex and then an underhook suplex ended things. (Backlund 1 near disqualification, Pesek 4 fatigue)

Ill temper notwithstanding, Mr Backlund continues to own the opposition... Really expected more from Pesek... Roll on!
