Hey gang! Looking forward to FG returning to the CAC Reunion in August! Would love some assistance from loyal promoters at our table. It's still over three months away so PLAN AHEAD! You will love the convention. It will feature a FG game tournament and it's an amazing opportunity to meet tons of wrestlers and you never know who will show up! Last year at the dinner on Wednesday night there was Rob Van Dam just hanging out at the bar unannounced. Sabu showed up (again unannounced) and spent around an hour hanging out with me in the nostalgia room and among other things we played some game matches!
Please contact me by email if you can help us at the FG table. I know it's tough for many people because the con is Mon-Wed but with this much advance notice I'm hoping some people can work it out. Last year Zeke assisted where he could.

We will also have an exclusive FG card release (at least one) for the event! I haven't made any final decisions on which card(s) yet but it will be another fun and collectible release!

CAC Reunion is two weeks away and I am getting prepared and getting excited! I have some loyal promoters planning to assist at the illustrious FG table but always enjoy more as part of our Las Vegas Legends team! Let me know if you can help out. I have been planning some fun along with Brian Blair and we are going to tear the place apart! Going back and forth as to whether or not I want to attend this year. I was originally scheduled to work on August 28th but now my co-worker asked me to work his shift next Saturday in exchange for my August 28th shift.
I now have the 28th-30th off from work so I could attend all 3 days, fly back early on the 31st and be back in Vancouver in enough time to work my Thursday afternoon shift. (As long as there's no flight delays of course)
I ran the numbers this morning and I figure between flight, hotel and convention ticket making the trip would cost me about $1200-1300 in Canadian Dollars plus meals. While I have some money saved up I'm already going to Rome in October for a week which is going to be an expensive trip. I'm not sure if I can financially justify a second vacation. But I would really love to go. If I do I would be more than happy to help out with some game demos.
I have to think this one over some more.

Paul, if you are able to make it here to Las Vegas for the CAC, I will buy you a beer my friend. I am actually going to Rome too this year but not until December. However, for me it won't be that expensive because I have family based in Europe (my sister lives and teaches in Germany, my parents have a home in Portugal, etc.) I look forward to seeing Tom (and anyone else here who can make the trip) a week from tomorrow! |
