The entire LOW team is back together! First, they answer a question from maddog1981 about territories. (Mad Dog, sorry, I think I called you "Mad Dog 1983.") Then, each promoter gives his memories of the late, great Superstar Billy Graham. And in this week's main event, the team gives a preview and some hype for the 2023 George Tragos-Lou Thesz Hall of Fame induction weekend, which will be held in conjunction with Galacticon this year! Hear about some of the award winners, some of the events to expect, where to eat, where to stay (and not to stay) and more! Find out what these videos have to do with this episode! Graham was quite the entertainer and sadly it was way too late before he got to do the face run.
My choice is Mid Atlantic as well. HM to Florida.
Very excited for Waterloo this summer.

I also was exposed to Superstar when he came back to the WWF and feuded with Butch Reed...and I agree that getting him in the game would be funkalicious brother man! Concerning which fed I would want to watch if I could only watch one...this would be easy-peezy as I would watch World Class Championship Wrestling! Why? Soooo many stars passed through this little territory e.g. Buzz Sawyer, Gary Hart, Ric Rude, Kabuki, One Man Gang (supposedly a Skull tattoo on each side of his head represents Kevin/Kerry), Kamala, Killed Tim Brooks, Freebirds, Warrior,Guerreros, Fantastic, Midnight Express, and the list goes on and on... Honorable Mention would be WWF...not WWE... Question for you guys...do u remember the first wrestling match you ever saw?

Fun episode. Wish I was able to make it to Waterloo but I’ll be in Maryland.
I only knew Billy Graham from his comeback/hip replacement surgery time and…that did leave an impression on me. I can still see the footage in my brain.
As for the Desert Island Promotion, my Honorable Mention would be Memphis but my main choice would be Big Time Wrestling from San Francisco. I never saw any of it, but for awhile as a kid , I had a bunch of programs from the 70s and would thumb through them all the time. I’d especially like it if the original commercials were included to see places and business from the area I grew up.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

It's gonna be a helluva time in Waterloo... Just wish I could be there.
Most of my knowledge of the wrestling territory days is derived from playing this game, so I'm gonna pick Memphis as my desert island library... But, I think I would've been a big fan of Sam Muchnick's St. Louis Wrestling Club as well... That's my honorable mention.

Was Stu's anti-pep talk the missing piece to inspire the Celtics to claw back into the series?! In the words of Pacers great Chuck Person, if they go down, they're going down standing up.
Mid-Atlantic is probably Desert Island Honorable Mention, if we get the '70s TV with George Scott (non-senile version) running things and get more Cornette-esque arena footage. But I might have to go with New Japan as my pick if only because there's so much of it. I would get the '70s stuff, including the stuff that didn't air on NJPW Classics, maybe more '80s stuff that was taped but didn't air, the '90s were of course super-hot for them, and even if the '00s stuff is bad the Inoki-ism era is at least bad in an interesting way, and easier to look at now since they got through it eventually. And then we'll have Gedo's run as booker that was strong stuff at least until the pandemic. That's a lot to parse through and a lot of it is great.
I have mixed feelings on Billy Graham...I don't have the emotional attachment of seeing him when he was young and fresh and while certainly he was influential, I question if his influence was in any way positive. A lot of the sizzle-over-steak style and unsustainable body emphasis of the 1980s can be laid at his feet.
