I haven't seen any of it but I know some guys just got their hands on a lot of New Japan fancam footage from the early 80s.

I listened to this episode on Saturday while driving to the FSW Arena to attend 4 Indy shows as part of Double or Nothing Weekend 2023 and also during some of the breaks between the shows.
I actually thought of Chad and Cory today after the first show I attended because I went down the street to the Blue Ox which is a Minnesota themed restaurant and bar where I ordered the Minnesota Viking which (as I mentioned on another thread here tonight) is a great sandwich of hot roast beef with horseradish and tomatoes.
Superstar Billy Graham is also very high on my personal wish list for LOW.
I agree that Doughy Joeys is great. I even follow Doughy Joeys on Facebook. When I was last in Waterloo in 2021, I ate there not once, not twice, but three times. Although I don't confuse their pizza for some epic place such as Pequod's, their pizza is nevertheless very good and I consider their sandwiches even better.
I am really looking forward to attending Galacticon this year. In many ways, Galacticon 2015 in Cleveland was my favorite Galacticon partly because of the mix of not only seeing friends from this community and playing the tournaments but also due to the live wrestling action which I obviously like alot (I have been to 9 shows the past 4 days and will go to 2 more tomorrow including Double or Nothing as part of Double or Nothing Weekend here in Las Vegas.) So I am particularly looking forward to this year's Galacticon in Waterloo!
And congrats to Cory's wife on completing her Masters! I got my Masters in History in December 2001 from UNLV and it was a great feeling to be done.

Vegas, when Connor was younger, I believe he ate at Doughy Joey's three times in one day. And the Viking sandwich sounds delicious! Thomas (TK), great question! We'll add it to this week's episode.

Great Show!
I too came into the Superstar's career when he was not the attraction that he was earlier in his career...but you can definitely see the impact that he had on the 80's and beyond.
I am all set for Waterloo! Well. I still have to purchase the HoF activities access and pack the suitcase, but flight, rental vehicle, and lodging are set (including the reservation for the couch at my daughter's place on Thursday and Sunday nights!!!)
As for my Desert Island fed, I would have to say NWA Hollywood Wrestling (NWA Los Angeles) because by the time I really got into wrestling it was on the tail end and about to be bought out by Vince and I would love to go back and see all that action from my hometown at its heights. Honorable mentions would be NJPW and AJPW...it would be AWESOME to see the early actions from Japan, seriously -> nuff said on that...right?
-----
Finally, I hope everyone has an enjoyable Memorial Day. If you would as you go about your activities today, please take a moment to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy.

I have a question I would like to ask the LOW team for their next podcast (if they have time to answer it.)
This weekend I am flying to North Carolina to attend the Crockett Cup in Winston-Salem. What are your thoughts about the classic Crockett Cups from the 1980s?

All this talk about G-Con & TnT weekend has me really trying to swing a trip w/ the family in IA and swinging by the Hall for the weekend. Still trying to get everyone to sign on, but hopefully I can lock it in this week.
And yeah can 100% say stay away from the fried mushrooms on the Umami Burger. Good memory guys. It's got to be those fried mushrooms it's the only thing no one else at the table had other than me.

Another fun episode. Hoping I can attend Waterloo this year, going to try to finalize my plans this week.
My desert Island Fed would be WWWF/WWF/WWE.
Billy Graham's championship run was just before my time watching wrestling, but i did go back and watch some of it later on and would love to get the Superstar in Legends!
