Great action, a new start with all the title changes, Deonna and Angle going to be tough to beat. Lethal lockdown was chaos but a massive win for Ohio I didn't expect so many title changes, but you're right, Angle and Purrazzo are gonna be real tough to beat now. The Lethal Lockdown was wild, had great fun playing out that brawl

Xplosion! May - Week 1 - Year 2 Commentary: Excalibur and Elijah Burke
Christopher Daniels makes his way to the ring to open the show. He says The Addiction promised they would beat Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn, and they did. Daniels says TNA has always been where he feels most at home and while he doesn't always show it, he is here for the fans. He says a star like him deserves to be wearing gold around his waist, so he is putting all TNA champions on notice - if you have a title, Daniels is coming for you.

Impact May - Week 1 - Year 2 Commentary: Excalibur and Taz
Kurt Angle opens the episode in the ring as the new World Heavyweight Champion. He thanks the crowd for sticking with him, even in the dark days when AJ Styles almost ended his career with a vicious punt to the head at the end of last year. He promises to now represent them with Integrity, Intensity and Intelligence. Josh Alexander comes to the ring. He says Kurt is his hero and he wants to to be the first to congratulate him for his win. Alexander says he knows he doesn't need to tell a legend like Kurt that people will now be gunning for him, but he hopes he may be one of the first in line for a World Title shot? Before Angle can reply, they are interrupted by Christian Cage. He says he won't apologise for breaking up this little love fest, because World Titles are reserved for greats and as far as he's concerned, Josh Alexander is not one. Christian questions what has become of Angle, thanking the crowd and promising to be their hero, telling Angle that he perhaps should have retired after that kick to the head because it has clearly done more damage than anyone could have predicted. Christian says he knows Alexander has a match later on, and says he will be watching with great interest.
Major Players def. James Gang by pinfall Brian Myers scores the fall on Brian James with a spear.
Non-title Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo def. Jordynne Grace by pinfall Both run through a string of reversals, before Purrazzo lands a flatliner for a sudden win.
The Kingdom make their way to the ring for their Champions Ceremony, hosted by Maria. She tells the crowd it is their great privilege, confirming by they she means the crowd, to be here tonight. Matt Taven says there isn't a team in the locker room who has the in-ring skill and all round sex appeal of The Kingdom, and that combination is what makes them the greatest champions to ever set foot in a TNA ring. Mike Bennett demands the crowd show their appreciation for their World Tag Champions immediately. However, the Motor City Machine Guns come to the ring. Alex Shelley warns them their reign is going to be a short one, before he and Sabin brawl with them, sending The Kingdom and Maria running for safety.
The camera cuts backstage, where Trish Stratus and Trish Adora are mid-argument. Adora keeps questioning why Stratus came to TNA, when she is suddenly jumped from behind by Ivelisse.
Christopher Daniels def. AJ Styles by pinfall Excellent contest between them, AJ tries to take the fight ringside, but Daniels gets control back and wins with Angel's Wings.
Final Girls def. MK Ultra by pinfall Ford gets the pin with a Backflip Stunner on Slamovich.
Austin Aries joins RJ City backstage. RJ says Aries specifically asked for this time. Aries boasts about his win over Austin Aries, saying he had warned him he'd teach him a lesson. He asks why RJ why anyone thought Ace Austin may ever be a world champion and waits just long enough for RJ to start to respond and then talks over him again. Aries says he is the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived and Ace Austin should remember that moving forward.
Josh Alexander def. Daniel Garcia by submission Christian attempts to distract Alexander in an otherwise excellent contest, but Angle chases him off and Alexander wins with an Ankle Lock.
Knockouts World Tag Titles Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) def. Death Dollz (c) by pinfall Sky and Love land Makeover on Havok to be crowned the new Knockouts tag champions.

Frankie Kazarian def. Brian Myers, Dezmond Xavier and Danhausen by pinfall Kaz wins a fun X Division four way with Back to the Future on Myers.
A promo plays for Jimmy Rave. Clips of him losing as part of Rock n Rave infection play, as he says he has always been a joke to TNA and to the fans. He says he has never been afforded the respect he deserves, but he is The Crown Jewel of TNA. When he won the Digital Media title at Lockdown, he says, he started to take back his story. He warns any challengers he is not a joke, not the Jimmy Rave of old and this message, it's Jimmy Rave Approved.
Laynie Luck def. Tasha Steelz by submission Luck's most impressive performance in TNA, as she wins with the Thirst Trap.
RJ City is joined by Trish Adora. She says she wanted to learn from Stratus, become better with her help, that Stratus should have come here and been a locker room leader. Instead, Stratus has come in and held young talent down and used dirty tricks to rise to the top. Adora says she expected better, but her mission now is to teach Stratus and Ivelisse a lesson.
X Division Title Alan Angels (c) def. Zachary Wentz by pinfall Another title defence for Angels, who gets the win with Wing Snapper.

Impact May - Week 2 - Year 2 Commentary: Excalibur and Taz

A pre-recorded interview with MCMG plays from after their return last week. Alex Shelley says it was damn good to be back in the Impact Zone, a place the Motor City Machine Guns have had their greatest successes. Chris Sabin says this is the year they assert themselves back on tag team wrestling around the world, and the TNA World Tag Team Titles seem like as good a place as any to start, so The Kingdom better watch their back.
Eric Young joins a nervous RJ City backstage. Young tells him he needs to relax a little. He warns Ohio versus Everyone that they would be mistaken to think Lockdown proved they were the better team. Young says they won the battle this time, but there's a war coming and they better be ready, because it will be bloody, and it will be brutal, and it will be won by Violent By Design.
Ricochet def. Trey Miguel by pinfall Ricochet gets the pin after a picturesque 630 Senton.
Knockouts Tag Titles Beautiful People (c) def. Buddy System by pinfall Buddy System do impress early on, but Solo Darling ends up being put away with Makeover.
Christian Cage comes to the ring. He says he expected a little more respect for a legend like himself when he came back to TNA, because this place would be nothing without him. He says backstage, no one has come to him for advice yet and who do they all think they are? But, he's actually here to address Josh Alexander, who he invites to the ring with him. He tells Alexander to do the right thing, the honourable thing, and stand aside, because this is not his time. Alexander says he has waited patiently while others have come back to TNA and jumped ahead of him in the pecking order, but he will not do that again. Kurt Angle comes out and suggests there's a simple way to resolve this and find the number one contender, because next week he has arranged for Christian and Alexander to go head to head, and the winner will face him at Sacrifice. Christian is furious, while Josh looks more than ready for the fight.
Christopher Daniels def. Ace Austin by pinfall Superb match, which Daniels wins with a second Angel's Wings. Austin Aries comes out to mock Ace about yet another loss. Chris Bey comes to Ace's defence and demands a match with Austin Aries next week on Xplosion!
Leva Bates def. Madison Rayne by pinfall A big victory for Leva, who scores it with a handstand double knees.
Non-Title Jordynne Grace def. Deonna Purrazzo (c) by pinfall A fantastic main event, which swings back and forth. Grace manages to escape submission attempts and then land a Michinoku Driver II to get the win. Grace takes a mic, closing out the show by demanding one more match. She says they have one win a piece, so let's make the decider a Knockouts World Title match at Sacrifice. Purrazzo accepts the challenge in a fit of rage.
