Impact June - Week 2 - Year 2 Commentary: Excalibur and Taz
Kurt Angle opens the show in the ring. He says he' not here for small talk, he's here to deal with Christian. He says Christian overstepped the line by turning up to his home; but you do not get a title shot that way, not in Angle's TNA. Christian comes to the ring, joined by Kevin Blackwood. He says Blackwood has seen a legend at work and is here to learn from him - oh, and he doesn't mean Kurt Angle, he adds. Christian says he really wasn't joking when he said he will get his title shot by any means necessary. Angle still refuses, but says he will fight them both and he'll do it two on one if he has to. Christian laughs and tells him he couldn't even beat a rookie last week. This brings Daniel Garcia to the ring, who offers to help Kurt and tag with him against Christian and Blackwood. Christian suddenly makes his excuses and says he can't do tonight, but he knows someone who will fight Garcia.
Austin Aries def. Daniel Garcia by pinfall Christian hops onto the ring apron and Blackwood trips Garcia, allowing Aries to win with a brainbuster.

Danhausen walks in as RJ is finishing with Bates and Purrazzo. He demands to know why "Reginald" is bothering these human womens, he's always bothering human womens! RJ flips out and tells Danhausen he's had enough of this tomfoolery. He says he is returning to the ring to beat Danhausen at Slammiversary.

However, Styles tells him he does remember, and that's why he is not giving it up now. He tells Daniels he isn't getting in the same ring as Styles, let along getting a title shot. Kurt Angle and Daniel Garcia def. Christian Cage and Kevin Blackwood by pinfall Thrilling main event. Blackwood goes after Garcia early on and gives him quite a beating. But once Angle is in, the tide turns. The World Champion wins with an Olympic Slam on Christian. After the match, Garcia and Blackwood continue to brawl, Christian is laid out in the middle of the ring, and Eric Young and Violent By Design launch an attack on Angle, leaving him a bloody mess on the entrance ramp.

impressive showing by Bey with a win (albeit by DQ) over AJ Styles He really did have Styles reeling, it's the most impressive he has been for me and if Styles hadn't aligned with the Good Brothers, then Bey would likely now be X Division champion!
