When I do my next LOW reboot, I think JR and Lance will be my commentary team while Solie does interviews from ringside.

One card a moth is Prime Time Wrestling so I use the Heenan and Monsoon card there. And I use Lance Russel's card for interview segments in my Memphis fed.
Honestly though, I consider myself the announce team simply because the match plays out in my head when I'm rolling. Is that weird? LOL

I didn't vote because my Rebel Wrestling fed is made up of different territories--each with their own announce team:
Rebel Wrestling Florida Sunday Night Superstars(Vintage/Golden Age territory): Gordon Solie & Rock Riddle(formerly "Wild" Red Berry)
Rebel Wrestling Southeast Monday Night Mayhem(NWA Georgia/Mid-Atlantic territory): Gordon Solie & Jim Cornette
Rebel Wrestling Northeast Tuesday Night Titans(WWF territory): Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan
Rebel Wrestling Mid-America Wednesday Night Warriors(old school Southern 'rasslin territory): Lance Russell & Diamond Dallas Page(formerly Les Thatcher)
Rebel Wrestling Mid-South Thursday Night Thunder(AWA territory): Lance Russell & Bobby Heenan(formerly Rock Riddle)
Rebel Wrestling Southwest Friday Night Fever(ECW Hardcore/WWE Attitude Era territory): Dr. Mike Lano & Randy "Macho Man" Savage(formerly DDP)
Rebel Wrestling Missouri Saturday Night Special(All-Star territory where wrestlers from all territories can appear): Gordon Solie & Lance Russell with Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan in the studio.
Saturday Night Special is hosted by Dr. Mike Lano & Rock Riddle on pay-per-view pre-shows with Monsoon & Heenan at the PPV "Gorilla Position" while Gordon & Lance call the PPV
Since Jim Ross is best known for being WWE's Attitude Era announcer, I'll probably have him replace Dr. Mike Lano in Southwest. Then Lano can travel the territories as a photographer.
I might also have Good Ol' JR join Gordon Solie & Lance Russell as a 3-man booth for Saturday Night Special & pay-per-views.

I voted for all 5 options on the poll because my LOW fed has different brands so I can divide up the announcing duties among the names on the poll plus some other LOW names such as Matt Stryker and Larry Zbyszko (I have used both of them in the past as announcers) who have served as commentators. For the Monsoon/Heenan card, when I get back to playing LOW, I am going to use that as a studio card where I will have other announcers commentate on the matches as they happen and then have the studio team provide analysis between matches. Sort of like the recent Stanley Cup Finals (won by my Vegas Golden Knights  ) where they have a play by play team and then between Periods they shift to the studio team for further analysis. I would probably just need a studio substitute for Heenan after the matches in which he was at ringside for his Heenan Family members. |
