This is a very cool story. If you click the link to the ESPN article you can see a video of her running. I give her credit for stepping up for her country and team so they would not be DQ from the whole competition.

Kudos to her for being a team player. If there's an award out there for Inspirational Athlete Of The Year she should definitely be a finalist. She's proof positive that when you're a part of a team sometimes you have to put the needs of others above your own.
