Hey everyone! Here's a chart that I will be releasing for GCon! It's a "What If?" kind of thing in which What if Siskel & Ebert were wrestling critics instead of movie critics? I've gathered a bunch of actual quotes from them and it should be a fun chart! I am fine-tuning it right now, and will release it sometime during GCon weekend! I hope everyone likes it! Later! A fun chart. I love how you worked in their legendary scathing reviews for "North" on Down 12. While North was a pretty bad film I still don't think it was as terrible as they said it was. My rating for this chart is:👍👍

Hi Thanks! That was a really fun chart to come up with, whew! I may expand on this and do a "banter" chart where they argue just like they used to about movies, haha! Todd C WTIC

I had not heard of it but went and looked it up and man did they roast the movie in a really bad way. It almost seems personal. Like the movie came into their house and did bad, bad things.

I had not heard of it but went and looked it up and man did they roast the movie in a really bad way. It almost seems personal. Like the movie came into their house and did bad, bad things. Well, in their defense it is a pretty bad film. The premise is poorly executed, almost all the jokes fall flat and some of the "jokes" do cross the line into the offensive stereotype category. However, I didn't feel like the film was EXCRUCIATINGLY bad as they made it out to be and I've seen substantially worse films than North. I usually reserve my scathing reviews for movies that waste the audience's time by not presenting any type of plot, storyline or character development; The Florida Project starring Willem Dafoe is a good recent example of that. Funny story about how I originally saw North. When I started following Roger Ebert's reviews back in high school I had heard about his legendary takedown of the film however I couldn't find it anywhere to rent as none of the video stores in my area had it in stock. One day I was meeting a friend for lunch a few towns over and I was a bit early so I went to the Mom & Pop video store next door to kill some time. Lo and behold in the $3 bargain bin was a copy of North on VHS and I just had to buy it to see how bad it truly was. I remember I also bought a copy of Searching For Bobby Fischer from the bin too which is a fantastic film that I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Hi Yeah they really laid into that one, for sure! Was it unwarranted? Maybe. I need to see the movie for myself though... Later! Todd C WTIC

Hi I started watching S&E when they were still on PBS! Listening to them argue about movies was always fun! One of my favorite movies is TRON, and I thought they would both not like it or understand it, but they both LOVED it: So yeah, I was always a S&E fan! Todd C WTIC
