On Thursday had a coffee disaster spilling full beaker of coffee, all over my 10+ years laptop. After 24 hours it's working 60% (Facebook and YouTube etc) but won't let me type or search anything. Doing this on my ipad best I can

Doing this on my ipad best I can damn coffee (although I am originally from Seattle, I almost never drink it) Bazzy, I am sorry to hear about your laptop. I am actually impressed though that you have had your laptop working for over 10 years as I have not had a laptop last more than 4 1/2 years. I think that might be perhaps because I always take it with me when I travel which might cause it some extra wear and tear. To get a new laptob, if you don't want to pay for the whole thing at once as they are expensive, perhaps if you have Best Buy or another electronics store you can buy it on credit? When I need a new laptop (and I have had to replace a couple,) I go to Best Buy and just pay it off over time. I would prefer to buy it outright as interest rates are high, but buying on credit is what I would personally have to do if my laptop went down tomorrow. |

Had to get a new laptop. Was told it would be better and cheaper. Only trouble now can't get into my email account. What hassle  |
