Have to go with Royal Rumble. Much more prestigious due to its history plus you're guaranteed to be in the Main Event of Wrestlemania.
However, there are advantages to winning Money In The Bank instead. You can bide your time and wait for the perfect opportunity to redeem your title shot as opposed to fighting at Wrestlemania which could be against an opponent you don't match up with well.
Despite that my vote still goes to the Rumble.

Rumble for the history. Even if I had the stipulation for the winner. I still say the winner should get a title shot on the next PPV, not WM. That would open up more possibilities of who might actually win. Like in the old days when there was no title shot.
Also from a practical standpoint I would rather win the Rumble as less wear and tear on the body. Not to mention not having to carry a briefcase everywhere I go.

Since wrestling is a work, I would obviously pick the Rumble because it would lead to a major payday for appearing in the main event at Wrestlemania.
HOWEVER... If wrestling was a shoot, I would totally pick Money in the Bank... Just imagine how much fun you could have with that briefcase... I would constantly fake out the reigning champion by pretending that I'm going to cash in... Just to change my mind and wait for another time... HA!

But, I might come up with something else where the prize is something similar... Thinking... Thinking... 🤔 |

In regards to if wrestling was a shoot, Money in the Bank would definitely be the better option. The defending champion usually has 2 months to prepare to defend their title at Wrestlemania against the Royal Rumble winner but many times no time at all to defend against the Money in the Bank winner. But since wrestling is a work, I would prefer to win the Royal Rumble as by itself it is a little bigger accomplishment than winning Money in the Bank and it leads to being in a high-profile (often main event) match at Wrestlemania. If successful, Royal Rumble winners win the title at Wrestlemania while Money in the Bank winners if successful sometimes suddenly cash in on a random RAW or Smackdown episode (I was actually at the RAW in Las Vegas in 2010 when Jack Swagger successfully cashed in on Chris Jericho.) |
