A video is shown with images of all the wrestlers on the card scrolling across the screen with the final image being the CWA Television Championship belt and the Words who will it be. The camera thens switches to the inside of the Keystone Centre and to 3 men standing on the announcers stage the one man is recognized as Donovan Black from the Golden Road Supershows.
Black: Hello everyone and Welcome to our first network special here on Fight Network. I am your host Donovan Black and these two gentlemen beside me are my co-hosts, Ed Whalen (motions to the man on his right) and this is Gordon Solie (motions to the man on his left).
Whalen: We have a jam packed show for you all tonight and what a show it is by the end of the night we will have the first CWA Television champion.
Solie: Right you are Ed and also I am told that there is a big anouncment tonight isn’t that right Donovan.
Black: Yes Mr. Johnson has said he has an announcement about the CWA and its future but that is all I know.
Whalen: Or that you can say about it. Let’s head to the ring for the first match.
TELEVISON CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT ROUND #01
Harley Race vs George “The Animal” SteelSteel took the fight to Race taking control early and scoring two near falls on Race before Race made a comeback and took controll of the match and it was down hill from there for Steel as he could not gain control and finally fell to Race’s finisher the PILEDRIVER.

Black: Well George almost got the win there but the veteran Race proved why he has been a champion all over the world.
Whalen: Indeed he did, but how will he fair in the next round we have more than one man in this turnament who knows what it means to be a champion.
Solie: That is so true Ed and I believe two of those men are in are next match.
Bruiser Brody vs Terry GordyThis match started on the outside when Gordy attacked Brody outside the ring as he was making his way to the ring. But Brody blocked the attack and slammed Gordy into the time keepers table and then threw him in the ring and laid into him, Gordy did manage to make a comeback and hit the BAMM BAMM SLAM but Brody kicked out and then made a comeback and hit his finisher the JUMPING KNEE DROP to score the pinfall.
Winner: Bruiser Brody
Match Rating: **Whalen: I don’t think those two like each other much.
Black: That is for sure and they showed it in that match I am sure we will be seeing more of that feud on Maple Leaf Wrestling as both those men are a part of that territory.

“DR. Death” Steve Williams vs Hillbilly JimJim started the match off in control but was just not as agile as Williams and lost control and it was all over from there Williams first hit Hillbilly Jim with the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE but Jim kicked out so Williams hit him with the BACDROP DRIVER and got the 3 count to win the match.
Winner: “DR. Death” Steve Williams
Match Rating: *Gorgeous George vs Manny FrenandezThis was a slow to start match as both men took their time feeling each other out but then it picked up with Frenandez taking control and taking the match to the outside but the Gorgeous one went right at him, maybe the clash with the Sheik at golden road changed something in him, George gained control and scored two near falls before locking Ferrnandez in the Gorgeous Grip snd Fernandez tapped out.
Winner: Gorgeous George
Match Rating: **“Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers vs Masked SuperstarThe started with both men trading blows back and forth till finally Rodgers got control and that was the end a few moves later and he locked Superstar in the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE and Superstar tapped out.
Winner: “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
Match Rating: ***Solie: What a match those are two of Stampede’s top men and they showed why Stampede ChampionshipWrestling is going to be a territory to watch.
Whalen: That they did Gordon, but I think all the CWA Territories are going to show fans some great action. Just know folks have a couple of names to watch out for, let’s head back to the ring for our next match.
Antonio Inoki vs Don MuracoMuraco picked up the win after hitting Inoki with 4 HAWAIIAN HAMMER’s. There is not much more to say as Muraco had most of the offense all match.

Bob Orton Jr. w/Jimmy Hart vs Frank GotchThis was a true mat classic as both men trade holds back and forth but in the end Orton hit his finisher SUPERPLEX and scored the pinfall.
Winner: Bob Orton Jr. w/Jimmy Hart
Match Rating: ****Adrian Adonis vs Bobo BrazilThe match started off with Adonis on offense and not letting up but once the match spilled to the outside Brazil got the upperhand and that was the begining of the end for Adonis and he finally fell after Brazil hit him with his finisher the COCO BUTT for the 6th time.
Winner: Bobo Brazil
Match Rating: ****Black: That’s all for the first round of the Television Championship Tournament.
Solie: We have some great matches coming in the second round I can’t wait to see what happens. The CWA is surely the place for some of the best wrestling in the country.
Whalen: So true Gordon, Donovan we are truely lucky to be here to witness this first hand. But enough of us talking let’s get back to the action in the ring.

Harley Race vs Bruiser BrodyBoth went toe to toe with each other and trade control of the match back and forth but in the end Race hit his finisher PILEDRIVER for a second time and that was all she wrote.

Match Rating: ***“Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs Gorgeous GeorgeGorgeous Geogrge defeated “Dr. Death” Steve Williams with his Finisher SPINNING TOE HOLD – The match was a good back and forth match but George just out wrestled “Dr. Death”..

“Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers vs Don Muraco“Nature Boy” Buddy Rodgers defeated Don Muraco via sumbission with the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE – This match went back and forth with both men spending a good amount of time on offense but after Rodgers kicked out of Muraco’s HAWAIIAN HAMMER it seemed like Muraco was not sure how to finish the “Nature Boy” off and that is what cost him the match.
Winner: “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers
Match Rating: **Bob Orton Jr. w/Jimmy Hart vs Bobo BrazilBobob Brazil defeated a bloody “Cowboy” Bob orton with the COCO BUTT – Orton got Bloodied when Bobo hit him with Jimmy Harts Megaphone, Hart tried to give it to him man but it dropped and Brazil got to it before Orton could and well the blast not only opened Orton up it broke the Megaphone as well.
Winner: Bobo Brazil

Whalen: Well I think “Cowboy” Bob orton and Jimmy Hart learnd a lesson there if you intend to use a weapon on your opponent expect it to sometimes be used on you as well.
Solie: (laughs) So true, I think you can call that a bloody lesson at that.
Black: Well while the medics help the “Cowboy” Back to the back we will go to our last Commerical break of the night and when we come back we will start the 3rd round of the tournament.

Match Rating: ***“Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers vs Bobo Brazil“Nature Boy” Buddy Rodgers defeated Bobo Brazil via submission with the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE – Like the match before Rodgers made quick work of Bobo Brazil only difference in this match is Brazil had a bit of offence just could not capatilize on anything.
