Alliance of Aethran Warriors! The bootleg federation that made me fall in love with the bootleg community, and why my passion for Aethra is stronger than ever. This post will mark my time playing this federation from top to bottom. For now, the backstory! " It is the year 2124. A man known as the Aethran Taskmaster takes the AAW brand, turning it from the standard developmental place for Aethra's top gladiators into a federation that allows for violence, bloodshed, and even outsiders to join the fray. The new Minister of War, the Aethran Overmaster agrees to the proposition, and the stage is set." So, with everything arranged, the first order of business is deciding the first ever champions. What better way to do that than to have all of the available participants battle it out in a round robin? Introducing, the AAW Champion Carnival and the AAW Aethra Tag League! The Champion Carnival is a singles tournament split into 2 round robin blocks. Twelve wrestlers enter, but only the winners of each respective block will reach the finals. Whoever wins the finals will become the first ever P2 Champion (at least in my federation). The Aethra Tag League is a tag team tournament with just one robin block. Six teams will face off, but only the top two will reach the finals. Whichever team wins the finals become the first ever AAW Tag Team Champions (at least in my federation). Here are the links to the Challonge brackets as they stand. challonge.com/AAWCC2124 (Champion Carnival) challonge.com/AAWTL2124 (Aethra Tag League) Feel free to give predictions as to who you guys think are going to win.

AAW Champion Carnival 2124 Round 1
Block A
Fracture (1) d. Nemesis (3) via Pinfall (FRAGMENTED VIEW) 2*
It was back and forth battle between the Gladiator and the Rank M fighter, but Fracture was able to find an opening to hit the Shattering DDT, and from there, a few FRAGMENTED VIEWS (even one on the outside) would be enough to put Nemesis away.
Fissure (2) d. Revile (2) via Pinfall (Deadly Decapitator) 2*
Revile is put on the back foot quickly, with Fissure keeping solid control. Revile would try to get it back, but a missed Moonsault put the control back in Fissure’s hands. Two Deadly Decapitators later, and Fissure was able to roll Revile in to get the 3 count.
Pandemic (1) d. Revolutionary (1) via Pinfall (drop kick) 1*
It was a back and forth battle between the former slave and the Aethran, but it would not be Revolutionary’s time to win, as Pandemic would catch Revolutionary with a picture perfect drop kick to get the 3 count.
Block B
Bloodmonger d. Slaughterer (1) via Submission (VIOLENT SEIZURE) .5*
It was a back and forth battle, but the battle was mostly in Bloodmonger’s favor, with him hitting a huge Decapitator to neutralize Slaughterer for a bit before a few out of the ring brawls see Bloodmonger get into the ring and put Slaughterer into the VIOLENT SEIZURE to get the submission win.
Manhandle (7) d. Smolder (5) via Pinfall (AETHRAN CRIPPLE BOMB) 5*
In an amazing back and forth battle, Smolder did everything he could to fight off the much larger opponent, but Manhandle would not stay down. Even as Smolder attempted the ASHES TO ASHES over and over again, Manhandle would keep on fighting. Eventually, Manhandle was finally able to catch Smolder and hit the AETHRAN CRIPPLE BOMB to get the 3 count.
Vindicator (3) d. Marauder (2) via Submission (HATRED) 2.5*
It was a back and forth battle between the two allies, but it would be Vindicator that takes control at the end of the match. While he didn’t take the battle to the outside (much to the dismay of the Aethrans in attendance), he did keep Marauder from getting out of his submissions easily, with him eventually locking in the HATRED deep enough to force Marauder to submit.
AAW Aethra Tag League 2124 Round 1
Defenders of Aethra (Hack (1) & Slash (1)) d. Exceptionally Good (Curtis Freeman (5) & Samuel Snyder (6)) via Pinfall (HACK AND SLASH)
It was almost no competition as Hack and Slash dominated the competition from the opening bell. The Defenders constantly put Curtis and Samuel on the back foot, even hitting the HACK AND SLASH multiple times, forcing Exceptionally Good to go for constant pin saves. Some may say the Defenders were playing with their food, but it wasn’t going to affect them in any way. When Curtis did mount a comeback, however, nearly getting the pin over Slash, the time for fun and games were over, and the Defenders would hit the HACK AND SLASH on Samuel to get the win.
Animen Assault (Bionic Hedgehog & Metadillo) d. Crisis & Calamity (2) via Pinfall (ANIMAN ASSAULT) .5*
It was back and forth for a little bit, but as Crisis and Calamity tried a double team on Bionic Hedgehog, Bionic would counter and tag in Metadillo, who then proceeded to fight with Calamity a bit before hitting a running power bomb. From there, he would tag Bionic back in to hit the IRON MAIDEN (which Crisis made the save for), and then tag Metadillo back in to hit the ANIMAN ASSAULT (which Crisis could not stop the pin for) to get the 3 count.
Ruination (Breakdown & Devastator (1)) d. Heathen (2) & Devium via Pinfall (Aethra Press Slam) .75*
It was a back and forth battle between the two teams, with Devastator doing a bit of heavy lifting early. After a little bit of back and forth, Devastator would tag in Breakdown, and while Breakdown failed to hit the DIE WITH DIGNITY, he would bounce back quickly. One Aethran Press Slam on Heathen would be enough to put the big man down (surprisingly).

AAW Champion Carnival 2124 Round 2
Block A
Revile d. Revolutionary (3) via Pinfall (FLAMING CHAIR SHOT) 1.5*
Revile was not going to let off the gas the moment he got the chance, hitting multiple FLAMING CHAIR SHOTS as well as the APPLE BUSTER. One final FLAMING CHAIR SHOT would put Revolutionary away.
Pandemic d. Nemesis via Pinfall (walk on the opponent’s chest/salute) DUD
It was a back and forth match, but Pandemic was not going to let Nemesis get the better of him, and in fact would prefer to insult him by walking on his chest and saluting before pinning Nemesis down for the 3 count.
Fissure (2) d. Fracture (4) via Pinfall (rolling Neckbreaker) 3*
It was a back and forth battle between the Gladiators, with both of them throwing big moves at each other. At the end, however, Fissure got a moment to get control and hit a Deadly Decapitator. After that, one rolling Neckbreaker would be enough to put Fracture down for the 3.
Block B
Smolder (4) d. Vindicator (3) via Pinfall (ASHES TO ASHES) 3.5*
It was a nice back and forth battle between Smolder and Vindicator, with Vindicator working on Smolder’s legs to keep him grounded, and the strategy nearly worked with Vindicator locking in a lot of his big submission moves, only for Smolder to fight out of them. Smolder would find an opening in an out of the ring brawl and proceed to hit the ASHES TO ASHES twice, with the second one hit to near perfection to get the Pinfall win over Vindicator.
Marauder d. Slaughterer (2) via Pinfall (VIOLENT IMPALER) 1*
It was a back and forth battle for a bit, but then Marauder caught Slaughterer on a bad break, taking advantage of the unknown wrestler’s weakness to hit the VIOLENT IMPALER twice in a row, with the second being nearly perfect, allowing Marauder to get the 3 count.
Bloodmonger d. Manhandle (4) via Pinfall (AETHRAN BOMB) 2*
The match started with Manhandle in control, but after a little while, it became clear who was on top of the food chain. Bloodmonger countered a test of strength and started laying the beatdown on Manhandle, even Powerbombing the big man onto the floor twice. After that, an AETHRAN BOMB would connect to get the win.
AAW Aethra Tag League 2124 Round 2
Crisis (2) & Calamity (3) d. Ruination (Breakdown (4) & Devastator (5)) via Submission (Cataclysmiclock) 3.5*
In a very compelling tag team match, every wrestler gave it everything they had to make sure they did not lose, with no one seeming to give the other an edge. The match would see its end when Crisis stopped a pin save and nearly allowed Calamity to get the pin over Devastator, but the opportunity allowed for Calamity to lock in the Cataclysmiclock to get the submission win over Devastator, with Crisis preventing Breakdown from entering the ring.
Heathen & Devium d. Exceptionally Good (Samuel Snyder (1) & Curtis Freeman) via Pinfall (Deathjump) .25*
This was a mostly one sided match as Devium and Heathen worked over Samuel throughout the whole thing whilst preventing Curtis from getting in on the action. The match would thankfully be over quick as Heathen hit a Deathjump on Samuel to get the 3 count.
Animen Assault (Bionic Hedgehog (4) & Metadillo) d. Defenders of Aethra (Hack (1) & Slash (5)) via Pinfall (Brutal Efficiency) 2.5*
It was an intense battle that saw Hack and Slash really try to take down Bionic Hedgehog early, even hitting the HACK & SLASH twice in a row. Metadillo would make the save both times, however, keeping the match alive long enough for Bionic to counter and tag in Metadillo to hit the Jagged Blade onto Slash. From there, Metadillo worked over Slash with Brutal Efficiency and a couple of DEATHBALLs, including a picture perfect DEATHBALL that forced Hack to make the pin save. One more Brutal Efficiency, however, and Slash was down for the count.

AAW Champion Carnival 2124 Round 3
Block A
Revile d. Pandemic (1) via Pinfall (FLAMING CHAIR SHOT) .5*
Pandemic held control early, but then Revile got it back and then proceeded to lay in the beatdown with a chair. He would hit the FLAMING CHAIR SHOT to get the Pinfall win.
Revolutionary d. Fracture (3) via Pinfall (spinning DDT) 1.5*
Revolutionary completely took over this match with Fracture not getting in any amount of offense whatsoever. Revolutionary would hit the TOTAL DISRESPECT to really rile up the Aethran fans, but he would eventually hit a spinning DDT to get the win.
Nemesis d. Fissure via Pinfall (AETHRAN MIGHT) DUD
This was a back and forth battle between the two wrestlers, but Fissure would be put on the back foot at the end, unable to bounce back at all, allowing Nemesis to hit the AETHRAN MIGHT to get the 3 count.
Block B
Smolder (1) d. Marauder (3) via Pinfall (deathjump) 2*
It was a match mostly controlled by Smolder, with him hitting the Swinging Crucifix DDT before connecting with the ASHES TO ASHES. Smolder would not be able to capitalize on the pin, however, and would have to hit a big Deathjump to get the Pinfall win over Marauder.
Vindicator (2) d. Bloodmonger (5) via Pinfall (Hammerlock Slam) 3.5*
In a strong back and forth battle, Bloodmonger fought through the many submission attempts by Vindicator, but it would not be enough as Vindicator would wear down the top Aethran warrior by a bunch before hitting the Hammerlock Slam to get the 3 count.
Manhandle (3) d. Slaughterer (2) via Pinfall (clothesline out of the corner) 2.5*
It was a back and forth battle between the two forces, but Manhandle was not going to let his losses get to him. He proceeded to attempt the AETHRAN CRIPPLE BOMB, only for Slaughterer to counter every time. It wouldn’t deter the big man, however, as he would throw a huge clothesline when he rebounds out of the corner to get the Pinfall win.
AAW Aethra Tag League 2124 Round 3
Heathen & Devium d. Crisis & Calamity via Pinfall (DEVIATION) SQUASH
This was a one sided match as Heathen hit a flying shoulder block followed by a powerful backbreaker before tagging in Devium to hit the DEVIATION and get the 3 count.
Defenders of Aethra (Hack & Slash) d. Ruination (Breakdown (1) & Devastator) via Pinfall (HACK AND SLASH) .25*
It was an incredibly short matchup as Slash and Breakdown faced off for a bit until Slash rolled Breakdown up from a the turnbuckle. From there, he tagged in Hack to hit the HACK AND SLASH, and while Slash prevented Devastator from getting in, Hack pinned Breakdown for the 3 count.
Animen Assault (Bionic Hedgehog & Metadillo) d. Exceptionally Good (Samuel Snyder (3) & Curtis Freeman (3)) via Pinfall (Bionic Compactor) 1.5*
In a mostly one sided match, Samuel surprisingly got some solid offense over Bionic Hedgehog, but the Animen were quick to bounce back, even hitting the Jagged Blade multiple times. The “Exceptionally Good” team proved to be an annoyance to the Animen, but they never posed any real threat, as one final Bionic Compactor from Bionic Hedgehog was enough to put Curtis away, with Metadillo preventing Samuel from getting in to make the save.

AAW Champion Carnival 2124 Round 4
Block A
Revolutionary d. Fissure (3) via Pinfall (TOTAL DISRESPECT) 1.5*
It was a back and forth battle between the two rivals, but Revolutionary worked over Fissure’s knee, making it more difficult for the Gladiator to move. Revolutionary would eventually seal the deal with the TOTAL DISRESPECT to get the 3 count.
Fracture d. Pandemic (4) via Pinfall (Unspeakable Horror) 2*
It was a back and forth battle between the rivals, but Fracture constantly kept Pandemic at bay, forcing the Rank M fighter into very uncomfortable situations. Eventually, Fracture would hit a final Unspeakable Horror to end the match.
Revile d. Nemesis (2) via Pinfall (running leg drop w/chair) 1*
Nemesis tried to fight off Revile and beat him down, but as he went up to the top rope, Revile caught him and hit a Superplex. After that, Revile hit the APPLE BUSTER and followed it up with a running leg drop with a chair to win the match.
Block B
Vindicator d. Manhandle (5) via Pinfall (Deathjump counter) 2.5*
Vindicator constantly kept Manhandle from doing anything, with the bigger Gladiator unable to really use his power more often than not. So instead, Manhandle tried a different strategy and went to the top rope for a Deathjump, but Vindicator countered the attempt and pinned Manhandle for the 3.
Bloodmonger d. Marauder (1) via Pinfall (AETHRAN BOMB) .5*
Marauder started to get control over Bloodmonger, but instead of pressing the advantage, he started slapping Bloodmonger in the face, causing the big man to get ticked off and hit the eye cleaver. After that, two AETHRAN BOMBs would be enough to put Marauder down.
Smolder d. Slaughterer (4) via Pinfall (Swinging Crucifix DDT) 2*
It was back and forth for a bit, but then Smolder would capitalize on a mistake made by Slaughterer and go to town, with Smolder hitting the Cradle Piledriver and the Swinging Crucifix DDT, with the latter move being enough to put Slaughterer down for the 3.
AAW Aethra Tag League 2124 Round 4
Animen Assault (Bionic Hedgehog & Metadillo (2)) d. Ruination (Breakdown (3) & Devastator (7) via Pinfall (IRON MAIDEN) 3*
In a back and forth battle between the two teams, the Animen Assault constantly worked over Devastator, even hitting the ANIMAN ASSAULT, only for Breakdown to make the save. After a little more of a beatdown, Breakdown had enough and saved Devastator from another pin, only for him to completely overwhelm Metadillo and get him put into a pin. After a little bit more, Breakdown was tagged in, but he would not be able to overcome the odds as Bionic Hesgehog hit the IRON MAIDEN to win the match.
Devium (3) & Heathen (4) d. Defenders of Aethra (Hack & Slash (3)) via Pinfall (pin save) 2.5*
It was a back and forth battle between the two teams, with Hack and Slash trying to work over Heathen at the start, but after Heathen kicked out, he would find a way to hit the SAVAGE SLAM on Slash to get a 2 count. Devium would start picking up the slack from there, but Hack and Slash would get control back, leading to Hack and Devium fighting for a little while. When Hack hit the UTTER DOMINANCE, however, Heathen broke up the pin and went ballistic, going for big moves on Hack and throwing Slash out of the ring, allowing Devium to get a surprise 3 count over the Defenders.
Crisis & Calamity d. Curtis Freeman (3) & Samuel Snyder via Pinfall (BRAIN STEW) .75* SQUASH
It was a mercifully short match as Crisis and Calamity worked over Curtis, with Calamity especially going after Curtis. After a little bit of offense, she would hit the BRAIN STEW on Curtis, and with Crisis dealing with Samuel on the outside, it was an easy 3 count.

AAW Champion Carnival Round 5
Block A
Fissure d. Pandemic (1) via Submission (AETHRAN ARK) .5*
It was a short match that saw Pandemic try to take Fissure down early, but Fissure countered before hitting a flying headbutt, getting a 2 count. After that, Fissure locked in the AETHRAN ARK to win the match.
Revolutionary (2) d. Nemesis via Pinfall (TOTAL DISRESPECT) 1*
It was a back and forth match that looked to be going in Nemesis’ favor after a brutal Loaded Elbow, but Revolutionary fought back with some big moves after countering a Deathjump, before eventually finishing Nemesis off with the TOTAL DISRESPECT.
Revile (3) d. Fracture (4) via Pinfall (APPLE BUSTER) 3.5*
It was a hard hitting back and forth battle with Fracture constantly trying to get the win through traditional means, including the FRAGMENTED VIEW, but Revile would fight through it all and whack Fracture with a chair time and time again before hitting the APPLE BUSTER to get the 3 count and advance to the finals.
Block B
Marauder d. Manhandle (3) via Pinfall (NECK SNAP) 1.5*
It was a brutal battle between the two, but Marauder held control for a big majority of the match, with a NECK SNAP and a PAINFUL CONTEMPLATION not enough to take down the big Aethran, however. Manhandle tried to fight, but a second NECK SNAP would put Manhandle away.
Slaughterer (1) d. Vindicator (3) via Pinfall (SLAUGHTERER DEATH DRIVER) 2*
It was a back and forth match that saw Vindicator try to get the upper hand over Slaughterer and attempt the HOSTILITY, but it would not be cinched in as Slaughterer fought through the pain. After a counter of the Ara Crablock, Vindicator would be put on the back foot, and after a few SLAUGHTERER DEATH DRIVERS, Vindicator would be pinned.
Bloodmonger d. Smolder (8) via Pinfall (AETHRAN BOMB) 4*
It was a brutal display, with Smolder trying to get the big win over Bloodmonger, but he would miss the ASHES TO ASHES. Bloodmonger would get up and completely destroy Smolder, hitting multiple powerbombs to the floor on the smaller Aethran. Bloodmonger would eventually finish the job with the AETHRAN BOMB to win the match and the block.
AAW Aethra Tag League Round 5
Animen Assault (Bionic Hedgehog & Metadillo) d. Heathen & Devium via Pinfall (IRON MAIDEN) DUD
This was a back and forth battle for a bit, but it was to no avail for the team of Heathen and Devium, as Bionic Hedgehog and Metadillo worked over Heathen and prevented Devium from entering the ring. Bionic Hedgehog would eventually put it away with the IRON MAIDEN, allowing the Animen Assault to go undefeated in the league.
Ruination (Breakdown & Devastator) d. Exceptionally Good (Samuel Snyder (1) & Curtis Freeman) via Pinfall (Devastating Decapitator) .25*
While Samuel Snyder and Curtis Freeman showed glimpses of potential in this match, the team of Breakdown and Devastator would prove to be too much, and the Ruination tag team never felt the urge to use their biggest moves, with Devastator hitting the Devastating Decapitator to finish Samuel Snyder.
Defenders of Aethra (Hack & Slash) d. Crisis & Calamity via Pinfall (HACK AND SLASH) DUD
Crisis tried to fight the Defenders, but the well oiled machine of a tag team was ready for anything, all while preventing Calamity from getting into the match. The HACK AND SLASH from the Defenders of Aethra would be enough to put Crisis away, with Calamity unable to make the save.
Upcoming for AAW Show 1
The first ever champions will be crowned!
Revile and Bloodmonger will battle for the P2 Championship while Heathen & Devium take on the undefeated Animen Assault for the Tag Team Championship!

AAW Show 1 (January 2124)
The Aethra War Dome is packed with Aethrans all looking for blood to be shed and glory to be won.
Mandhandle d. Curtis Freeman (2) via Pinfall (AETHRAN CRIPPLE BOMB) 1*
This was a mostly one sided match, but Curtis did get in some level of offense against the bigger Aethran. It would not be enough, however, as Manhandle would pick Curtis up and hit the AETHRAN CRIPPLE BOMB to win the match.
Defenders of Aethra (Hack & Slash) d. The Invaders (Vindicator (1) & Marauder) via Pinfall (UTTER DOMINANCE) .25*
This was a short match as Vindicator started strong with a rear naked choke, but after a turnbuckle throw gone wrong, the Defenders worked together to isolate Vindicator from his partner and Hack hit the UTTER DOMINANCE to win the match for his team.
Devastator (2) d. Pandemic (3) via Pinfall (IRREPARABLE DAMAGE) 2.5*
It was a nice back and forth battle between the two Rank M combatants, but in the end, Devastator took advantage of the opening he was given, hitting the Aethran Devastation and the Aethran Face Wrecker before landing a +2 IRREPARABLE DAMAGE to get the Pinfall win.
AAW Aethra Tag League 2124 Finals (AAW Tag Team Championship)
Heathen & Devium d. Animen Assault (Bionic Hedgehog & Metadillo) via Pinfall (DEVIATION) DUD
Bionic Hedgehog started in control by throwing Heathen into the ropes. The outsider landed a Gladiator Piledriver and a diving headbutt before tagging in Devium to hit the DEVIATION, getting the surprise 3 count.
Bionic Hedgehog got up after a little while, completely taken by surprise from everything. That’s when Metadillo goes over and helps Bionic Hedgehog out of the ring. They head to the back as Heathen and Devium celebrate their Tag Team Championship win. The first ever tag team champions celebrate for a bit as the crew get ready for the main event.
AAW Champion Carnival 2124 Finals (AAW P2 Championship)
Bloodmonger (1) d. Revile (3) via Pinfall (AETHRAN BOMB) 2*
Revile started the match trying to get as good of an offense as he can, but Bloodmonger shut it down. The bigger Aethran then tried to take a risk and go for a Deathjump, but Revile somehow countered it into a pin attempt. Revile would not be able to capitalize, however, and Bloodmonger would proceed to counter a toe kick, hit the Decapitator, a Powerbomb to the floor, and finally the AETHRAN BOMB to get the 3 count.
Bloodmonger celebrated his win as the first ever P2 Champion in AAW. Now he has plenty of challengers to worry about, but for the time being, it’s a cause for celebration for the Gladiator. He holds the gold and celebrates as the cameras fade to black.
Next Time on Alliance of Aethran Warriors! - The new P2 Champion will appear on the first episode of a new talk show! - Heathen will face off against Breakdown in singles action! - The Defenders of Aethra will take on Crisis and Calamity in tag team action. - A TV studio will be seen talking about the action throughout the night.
All of this and more on Alliance of Aethran Warriors Show 2 (January 2124).
