I listened to this episode today.
Tim is 100% correct about Casablanca being the greatest movie ever made. I am not sure if it is my overall favorite movie, but I can agree that it is probably the best movie of all time. I own it on DVD and one of the special features of that DVD is Roger Ebert doing commentary for the entire movie.
Thanks again for answering my question and thanks again to Chad and Cory for looking something over for me that I sent them on Email.

Casablanca: greatest movie ever? Is that the one with The Dude and the rug and bowling? If so, that is the correct answer. But they call it Big Lebowski around here. They Live is also an acceptable answer in my house. But maybe documentaries don't count on your lists.

In my lifetime, I've had two movies that I've considered my absolute favorite...
1994-present: The Crow 1981-1994: Raiders of the Lost Ark
Honorable mentions going to Inception, The Book Of Eli, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and Tombstone.
Must admit that trying to select 18 wrestlers for a 'new' introductory Legends set is a nearly impossible task... And even though playing a heel would be lots of fun, I think I'd wind up being a face.
Truly enjoyed hearing your answers to this wide assortment of questions, gentlemen... Looking forward to the next installment... Cheers!

Tombstone is a great movie, I own it on DVD.
I have even been to Tombstone, Arizona and that is a place I think fans of the movie should definitely visit at some point. You can see the site of the shootout at the OK Corral. Some other places in the movie that still exist there today include the Oriental, the Bird Cage, the Crystal Palace, and the courthouse. You can also go to Boothill just outside of the city and see the burial sites of some of those killed at the OK Corral.
If you go, I recommend flying into Tucson as Tucson is much closer than Phoenix to Tombstone in southern Arizona. I went to Tucson for a 3-day weekend back in 2007 and one of those 3 days was spent at Tombstone.

Fun episode. Fun questions all around. Especially enjoyed hearing everyone's favorite movies and the new starter set question was an interesting one as well.
I won't take the time to attempt to fully put together a new starter set. I could see a couple different concepts working but like the idea of a set with a little more variety of levels. Adding the Midnight Express and a well known mid-carder or two would be all I would do but it might be tough to figure out who to remove from that color starter. Roddy Piper feels like he would have been a great addition to a starter set like that as well.
As for a favorite movie... I'm a big time action movie fan. The Rambo series is my favorite and 2008's Rambo might just be my favorite. TONS of action!
Lastly, I had to clarify something Cory said in the podcast. I was NOT the one to sign Paul Orndorff. I tried but either didn't get a response or the conversation didn't result in a signing. I don't actually remember. I don't think his son outright ever said no to me though. Either way, someone else signed him after that and that is all that matters! Super happy to have him. Big fan! It's hard to think of a better piledriver in all of wrestling.

I thought of this podcast again this week when I saw a poster of Casablanca at a bar in Kansas City Kansas. I want to buy Tim a beer in Waterloo this weekend. The ending of Casablanca really got to me as Bogart let the women go with the other guy for the greater good during WWII, a very selfless act. Russell Crowe did a very similar thing at the end of Proof of Life (which some have called Casablanca with firepower.) I absolutely love that movie and Tim has impeccable taste.

I neglected to include This Is Spinal Tap which really deserved an honorable mention for being my favorite comedy for over 30 years.
