I would also recommend booking early... hotels tend to fill up early.

Red Roof didn't used to be the closest but now it is at the new location. Definitely no frills, but not a dump, as Trent says. The Radisson is the nicest but by far the most expensive, more so now that it transitioned from a Holiday Inn.
I'm undecided where to stay this year.

then you're forced to check with people who want to share rooms. Which of course is my usual strategy.

You could of course book a room in advance & not employ such a strategy...then you might have some success

Chuckles..haven't had an issue with it yet. (Actually I had a worse time when I did book in advance as two roomies bailed on me and had to have to room by myself)

I stay at the Best Western, for 110$ a night plus you get breakfast. An all you can eat buffet. And they have a pool and a gym. You can do the Carriage Inn in Falconer for 50$ a night. I have spent a few night there.
