On the anti-Taco John's side of things, there is a small Mexican place nearby my home called Taco Chon. Taco John's apparently has a lawsuit against them saying their name is too close to Taco Johns. Nothing about Taco Chon is at all like Taco Johns, other than the fact that they serve tacos. It isn't fast food, their logo isn't remotely similar. I honestly don't even know how the big Taco John's corporation would have even heard about this small family owned Mexican restaurant. Yep, that is not right either. If they used the name AND other things like store design, logo, etc were similar than I can see. Like the companies that put edibles in packing that is almost exactly the same as other companies' products like Doritos. That is wrong. What Taco John did hear is like how McDonald's were moving into a town with a restaurant named after the family, McDonald's, and had been there years but the corporation wanted the family to change the name. They lost that case thankfully.

We don't have Del Taco or Taco Jonhs around here.
Buffalo has Taco Bell or Mighty Taco (who is currently running promotions celebrating their 50th anniversary)
