Wow, the referee must not like Severn. The other three men came close to getting the DQ but were given some leeway. None for Severn it seems. Some brutal matches here but I wonder, did Roderick Strong even get in the ring in his match? 15 fatigues but he had ZERO. Good stuff as always. Keep it up. Mornin on_the_edge! The ref totally had a problem with Severn. I wasn't close enough to hear what transpired between them, but whatever it was, the ref sure wasn't having it! Strong actually was in there for a bit, but was forced to resort to multiple defensive tag attempts. All seems to be ok insofar as Cole & he are concerned, but we'll just have to wait & see if all is cool between them. (The members of The Upper Eschelon...have attained their status through a variety of means...some were immediately recognizable and respected...and feared...and some turned out to be crafty politicians...and / or...gifted...in political theater...but all now have the support of Godsend...who...appear...to trust him):
Recent Developments:
1. The indigenous Merapis tribes', (aka Merapi), state of Civil War...has suddenly and unexpectedly ended - outside of The Vast...The Merapi are the largest force on the planet...and their two champions...Orrus The Unstoppable and Tarval The Trapper...(who were once bitter enemies)...have now formed an alliance...spurning a noticeable contingent of the Lower Eschelon (whose total numbers are almost 20 million strong)...to start becoming sympathetic towards all of the Merapi...thanks in no small part...to a charismatic and effective public advocate in the name of Kenny Omega...and the pregnant sister of Tarval...
2. The Upper Eschelons' attempt to secretly subjugate and convert 42 women into concubines has colossaly...backfired - starting with sympathy and compassion...(through the eyes of a stranger)...in this case from a little girl and her mother...word was quickly spread throughout the Lower Echelon...and several male wrestlers...regarding the women's situation and imprisonment...resulting in a scattering...and retreating of...The Upper Eschelon to...The Temples...The U.E. and their security force...have spun this retreat actualy as an "ascension" in power...via occupation of The Temples...
You Say You Want A Revolution:
(Fueled largely as a result of the two previously stated points, The Lower Eschelon have forcefully approached The Upper Eschelon):
Ultimatums:
1. They want an immediate new system of government on Merapis...one that encompasses and involves...All...of the members of The Vast...not just The Upper Eschelon...and if this is...refused...then there will be nothing short of...a full scale...Merciless...Revolution...
2. The previously stated method...of selecting Heavyweight and Tag Team Championship contenders from a very large pool of wrestlers with even records...are categorically unacceptable...new methods must be devised...and also accepted by...The Lower Eschelon immediately...or face annihilation...
What The Majority on Merapis Knows:
The Lower Eschelon:
1. Although the Lower Eschelon are presenting themselves as a united front to the Upper Eschelon...in order to make their demands...the reality is...their alliance is very precarious...with multiple parties and factors in play - applying their own pressures on the whole...from the reunified Merapi...to various internally competing groups...and the vast majority of The Lower Eschelon...who haven't declared an official side in this overall situation...but who are quite simplistic...and impressionable...in nature...
2. Vallah and his followers have pledged their allegiance to...and are advocates for...the Lower Eschelon...but they are not universally trusted by them...for at least some of them partially...(if not completely) blame Vallah for everyone's predicament as much as they blame Godsend...
The Upper Eschelon:
1. In addition to knowing all of what The Lower Eschelon knows...(and is faced with)...they are also aware that...despite this...The Lower Eschelon is slowly getting more...and more...cohesive...if things are not rectified soon...then...THEY...will indeed become the Masters of Merapis...not The Upper Eschelon...and the E.U...cannot...have that!...
2. The tightest groups (by far) on Merapis...(with the exception of the now reunited Merapi)...are the contingents of the Vast...who are from the same geographical origins...of the wrestlers they support...AND...the wrestlers that they root for...themselves...
The Individual Wrestlers on This Roster:
1. They have bonded with these particular sets of fans...aka all of The Vast - (both Upper and Lower)...unlike they've bonded with anyone...or group...ever before...like a new family...ones that practice tribalism as a means of..."Merapic Self-Preservation"...
What The Majority on Merapis DOESN'T Know:
The Combined Indigenous (Merapi) Tribes:
Are working together...to pit both sides of the Vast...(and the wrestlers they support)...all against one another...with The Upper Evolved trying to influence the Lower Eschelon...(through cleverness and preying upon...naivete)...and with The Lower Evolved trying to influence The Upperr Eschelon...(through fear and preying upon...insecurities)...the Merapi want sovereignty of their planet back...Orrus and Tarval...are the ones putting the plans...and the pieces into play...as part of a now 100% unified force...
Vallah:
Has decided...(considering the huge amounts of peoples and beings involved...not to mention the rapidly shifting politics)...that it would be in everyone's best interests..(including himself and his followers)...if he sowed the seeds of a particular solution...to The Upper Eschelon of The Vast...(as their answer to The Lower Eschelon's ultimatums)...that should be able to thread all of these needles...or at least...(if nothing else)...be something...that will buy them some extra time...before it all goes inevitably...and irreversibly...south...
The Upper Eschelon's Accepted Comprimises...To The Lower Eschelon's Demands...In The Form of Edicts (all of which are Vallah's ideas - that he has magically cast into the minds of the U.E.):
1. Effective immediately...two new championships will be sanctioned...the Merapis Women's Championship...as well as the Merapis Atomicos Championship...
2. The inaugural group of governors will be decided upon with the crownings of all of the inaugural championships...these (8) champions...will in fact...also become...governors...and will rule unconditionally in all matters Merapic (as the spokesmen/spokeswomen of themselves - and they're devoted members of The Vast)...subsequently...as champions change...then...so do governors...and the privileged contingencies...that are represented...
3. The inaugural champions will not be determined at...and or on...a particular card...they will be determined as...and when...they stand alone in their divisions...as the only one's who remain...undefeated...
4. The Divisions will be as follows - Mens Singles, Mens Tag, Women's Singles, Atomicos...
5. The Championships & Governorships will subsequently be - Heavyweight Champion, Tag Team Champions, Women's Champion, Atomicos Champions*...respectively...
(*Note - Atomicos teams may very well be mixed men & women's teams - but this will be decided upon on a case to case basis - as per the wishes of the teammates involved).

Looking forward to some new gold. Afternoon TTX me bro! I'm stoked you're looking forward to it man. The ladies division is underway and for the first time, I'm going to be running an Atomicos division - which kicks off soon. The cards from #22 and on will have 5 bouts a piece - still a manageable amount for me. Coming up next are: 1. The results of Cards 15, 16 & 17. 2. And then either later today, or tomorrow will be the next installment of the outside the ring action also covering Cards 15, 16 & 17. As far as I know., that should be it division wise. But may have a few special events down the road. Gracias Senor!! |

Poor Kenny never catches a break...and I guess it could be said that he literally got some tail...(Sorry, couldn't resist that one). Brody vs Hades was spectacular, one of the best matches so far for sure. I'm glad it was a groovy result. I was totally pulling for Brody in that one. Next batch of matches I should have up soon, some decent ones in there too I hope. Thanks brother! |
