At a certain point, they did it with everyone. Why did Bubba Rogers turn into a deranged correctional officer? Why did Tito Santana take up bullfighting? Why did Smash trim down and start repossessing cars? Travis, we could start an entire thread asking these types of questions 🤣 Exactly what occurred between at least one of Terry Taylor’s parents and a farm animal that turned him into an oversized rooster? Sonny Beach I saw in that thread. I don't remember Chief Jay Eagle ever being mentioned anywhere. I don't remember where I read it but it was around the same time Fritz Von Goering and Dick Woerle were signed. Hell, it might have been the old black and white Promoter. |

How about The Christmas Creature? At least with Santana, they made an attempt to explain it by saying he was taking up a family tradition or something. Boss Man...well, the prison guard thing was a shoot, so I guess theoretically it's not incompatible with him also being a bodyguard. Maybe Mama Cornette was serving some time in a minimum security prison for insider trading and took a liking to him. |

Travis - But Budda Rogers correctional officer became a big success, Big Bossman the heel was the first guy I liked when I started watching WWF on Challenge & Superstars .

It was a dubious gimmick even at the time, but not as bad as some others. Remember what happened to Mr. USA? Poking Dusty in the eye was a favorite pastime for Vinnie.
