The Swerve vs Hangman match was superb, but one thing I started to think about watching it today was that they had Nigel McGuinness on commentary and they did the blood drinking spot. Nigel was extremely vocal about blood in wrestling after the impact Hep B had on him, so it just felt a little unfair to put him in a position to have to commentate on that. I thought he was notably more quiet during that match than he had been up to that point, and it felt like he wasn't overly impressed. However, that aside, both men really went all out, fair play to them! There was a family with two little (elementary grade levels) sitting next to us on our right who took their kids and left during this match and then returned when this match was over. I of course love deathmatches but I also get why somebody would not want their little kids watching them.

Those are good parents. Instead of boycotting the whole show they let the kids see most of it and took them away during the one match they probably are not ready to view.

Hope you felt it was worth your time and money!
Got the boys together and made a night out of it even though none of us had really been keeping up with their television week-to-week since maybe Forbidden Door 2. Yeah adding a big what if swerve for your scheduled main event at the last minute of the pre-show is certainly an ... interesting idea to push buys. Little too much soap opera maybe take 10% off with the ambulance and new world champ by forfeit fugazi and keep the Gunns trying to take out a limb as a wrinkle for the main event. End of result would have left both Jay and MJF not looking like morons with Jay unable to take out a one-legged man and MJF doing a bunch of spots that would further cripple him like that Cactus Jack/Macho Man Elbow to the floor landing on a bum knee. CRAZY
Honestly after the insane Ladder Match and the batshit ultraviolence of Hangman/Swerve (did not particularly care about the setup but was most interested in seeing that pairing) I was pretty dead for the Elite Tag but had rallied for MJF/JAY. It's been a long while since Ive watched five straight hours of rasslin
Overall we had a really fun time with it and I will always be happy to see Nigel McGuiness and Prince Nana get their shine on an international PPV.

Here are my thoughts on the Main Event angle. I think we were going to get the reveal that Adam Cole was the Devil and has been working with Bullet Club Gold to get the belt off of MJF. Both Adam Page and Jay White had nearly the same expression when MJF came out. So now we wait on the Devil reveal until probably Worlds End.
