Do we just assume there are no cycle three releases at all. no, although I don't know the plans for LOW and COTG, there is definitely going to be a Indie deathmatch set for Quarter 3. As I mentionded yesterday on another thread, I have seen lots of card art, the stats are mostly done, and I have been told the announcements will start soon. Vegas my comment was made sarcastically, as a jest. I mean really the cycle three release could be people that were signed at CAC year ago. That could be the only tie to it.

Tom and photos mean little. Otherwise Mick Foley would be in the game As of now, Punk is in AEW so he's likely a no go but give it a couple more months and that could totally change. A bit surprised Foley hasn't said yes. This game seems like something that would be up his alley.

Somebody yesterday in the deathmatch set thread was voicing concern about the status of that set so I am just trying to alleviate any worries. As for LOW, I have no idea what will happen 3rd Quarter or if a LOW 3rd Quarter set will still be CAC affiliated (if so then perhaps it might include some of the LOW signings Tom made this week at the CAC?)

TTX - I didn't really expect a CM Punk card because of AEW (Though the way AEW threat him if stories are true? Sure Khan wouldn't be arsed if he had a Filsingergames card), just do some post to keep some threads alive. Sure I am not the only one, in never say never. There are some cards I thought we would never see but we have seen in Legends & Indies. Hopefully Tom did mention it to CM Punk and thrown in a pepsi.
Wonder if any wrestlers has ever said no or yes to a promoter on doing Filsingergames card, before they asked them?

More chance of Tom talking CM Punk into a card now, that Punk got fired from AEW

In all actuality I'm kinda shocked there isn't an AEW or several sets by this point. The majority of the roster is already in the game thanks to Ring of Honor. But I have to agree with Bazzy now that CM Punk has been released from AEW I'd personally love to have him in the game

AEW has an exclusive contract with some other trading card company.
Also, my understanding is a number of the ROH guys weren't directly signed, but essentially licensed by the company itself. I doubt that license was indefinite.

Admittedly we're veering off topic, but I wonder if Tom and company have/could walked up to Upper Deck, and try to say "hey, how about licensing our game engine that we've fine-tuned over nearly four decades and just needs some R&D on getting up to date stats for the guys AEW would want to promote with such a product?" I'm positive it's nowhere near that simple, especially since it'd probably benefit Filsinger Games more than it would Upper Deck, but I keep coming back to that idea.

UpperDeck's been publishing their game in one version or another since 2004. It's their drag-and-drop system for all licensed properties (Marvel, DC, Aliens, Predator, X-Files, James Bond, etc). Seems doubtful they'd have any interest in partnering with another company to diverge from their existing engine.
