People can decide what they want to do. Fighting or complaining about what they do is not going to help things.
I think a lot of frustration is that by this point, we'd be nearing a preorder date and yet nothing has been announced for any set since Galacticon. While I'm sure there will be something at some point I can also see why people are frustrated with no official reason just "hey there's still time."

Why? They changed from Quarters to Cycles. The Cycle 3 releases are scheduled to be released by September/October. *Checks calendar* the team still has 29 DAYS until they have missed a deadline. Have you received the first two cycles of pro prime? If so, nothing has changed. They are being released in line with cycle releases. This created problems for like Q2 with July releases - so instead they changed the dates. Why?? Because I can. I don't need you to check your calendar. But you can if you want. Appreciate you trying to being the FG bulldog, but you ain't it. Customer communications, and some posters at the point of trying to bully others for wven asking basic questions are the main reasons. We know the reasons for going to cycles. It's to allow a little more freedom while working on COTG stuff. Just communicate. On the board. None of this podcast or convention stuff. Demz be fightin woids....

See even that is false - the allow more time for COTG stuff. The whole reason was to allow for easier shipments and flexibility especially with pro prime. You can totally be pissed, and withhold your money from it over this slight, your call. Again though, until November 1st hits with no shipment, Filsinger Games has met their obligation to me thus far. I never said I was the bulldog for FG, but I mean if we are going to ignore answers to questions, and still be pissed then sure, feel free to be upset and withhold your money for next year. Tournament Master, maybe a message from yourself or Mike to everyone on the board, and carrier pigeons, and USPS, and emails to anyone who has ordered a set ever, might be enough to spread the word. However I am sure some people will be upset that they didn’t get a personal phone call from Tom Filsinger himself. TTX, I hear you but it was clarified, here on the boards, I linked it to a post on this very thread, by Mike M, and it was clarified on The Uncharted Territory Podcast last week with their 150 episode. Choose to ignore GCON, if you want but , Troy, stuff changes. And, if this is bullying, shit then I guess I need to apologize. I never realized I was bullying, my bad, I am sorry for pointing out the obvious. Everyone should be upset because there wasn’t personal communications via the preferred method to each individual promoter. I personally would prefer carrier pigeon, guys at FedHQ, can you get on that?

I think at this point there's more of a chance that we will see the realease of an all female FUTURESHOCK set than the Cycle 3 releases.... ... by the way, what women wrestlers would you like to see in a CWF set...??

Indies teaser says, "More names will be announced this week and in the coming weeks and cards will ship by late October." So if there is something, it'll be late October when it ships.

TTX , I hear you but it was clarified, here on the boards, I linked it to a post on this very thread, by Mike M , and it was clarified on The Uncharted Territory Podcast last week with their 150 episode. I never realized I was bullying, my bad, I am sorry for pointing out the obvious. Everyone should be upset because there wasn’t personal communications via the preferred method to each individual promoter. I personally would prefer carrier pigeon, guys at FedHQ, can you get on that? And another Promoter has left the Boards because they were called out for stating their frustration. It has nothing to do with calendars or commitments or communications. This person had been around for a while, and now he's gone. And even as he left, someone felt the need to jump on him for "false" reasoning. He wasn't even trying to complain necessarily. Maybe he was wrong, but was it necessary to call him out on it? In a public forum? Yes, Barry. This is bullying. And it's on you. When you call someone out because they feel disgruntled, that's bullying. Someone feels the way they feel, and that's okay. They don't deserve a lecture. When you so valiantly defend the brand out of some sort of...whatever it is that drives you...to the point of using the "Cycle Format" argument like a bludgeon and hammering down anyone who doesn't like it, that's bullying. (By the way, I think the "Cycle Format" is lame. There, I said it. Take your best shot.) When someone makes a point and you fall into some reductio ad absurdum argument about carrier pigeons and personal phone calls, that's bullying. When someone makes a totally reasonable request that news be shared reliably on this forum (which is supposed to be the official FG board), instead of solely on podcasts and they get argued with and dismissed because, "stuff changes," that's bullying. When someone expresses their decision to question their personal commitment to Promoter Prime in the future (not cancelling it outright, just questioning it for crying out loud) and you give a left-handed, "hey do that if you want" while your right hand says what YOU feel and think and why YOU are in the right, that's bullying. And it turns people off. And it drives them away from the board. Maybe even the game. Everyone-- everyone--is entitled to feel the way they feel. And before you say that you don't tell people how they should be feeling, go back and reread some of your posts and ask yourself if you would allow one of your students to speak to another of your students like that. Mike, Todd, Tom, and the rest of the team can deliver news however they want, and that's okay. But people do have the right to feel slighted--that's okay, too. (Go to the Paizo forums sometime. They are hosted and maintained by Paizo staff and they are full of (a) complaints about the company's products which are much more acerbic than anything you see here, and (b) outright, borderline abuse of the staff, which we very seldom see here. And it's all okay because customers do have the right to voice their displeasure with a product or a management decision.) Either way, they are grown men, and they don't need a thug trying to fight on their behalf anytime someone has the temerity to suggest that all is not well in their corner of the universe.

I am pretty much of the mind that we get sets when we get them. I think we have been pretty spoiled with the amount of regular products being rolled out over the years and there will come times when certain production halts or slows down as things in personal lives can affect working on new products if that is part of the problem or getting certain contracts signed to have stellar talent in the game. Whatever the reasons. I personally am fine with the gaps in the time of when we get sets. I feel like we just got a few sets not to long ago and some Promoters are probably just starting to use some wrestlers from those more recent sets.
I don't expect sets to come out religiously as we have had in the past I honestly think we are lucky in that regard as other gaming companys can take up to a year before they bring out new content so any sort of gap in products doesn't worry me too much. We have more than enough to game with already. The new sets will come when they come and remember the amount of work it takes to get names, sign contracts, pick the roster for the set, get the stats right then playtest, then poor Werner has to crank out a ton of art. So there is a process and a lengthy one. I would rather they take their time and continue to give us top notch products than rush it just to hit a deadline we have always been use to.
But that is just my take on this for what its worth.
