As I have said before, I get one day off a week these days and it is usually Monday. But next week my boss needed me to switch so I will work Monday and I am off Sunday. I looked for any local wrestling shows and found this one. I am leaning to going even though it looks like it might be in a sketchy part of town.  |

Yea it would be first time for me to see in person The Headbangers, Mad Man Pondo, Gary Wolfe and Tony Devito. Maybe Bobby Fish because I do not recall seeing him at any of the ROH shows I have been to. Only seen Leve once in person so it would be cool to see her again.

Got my ticket today. Almost didn't happen. I went to purchase it via PayPal which is the way they do it, my computer took me there, I clicked to make purchase and instead of taking me back to the ticket site and making the purchase it spun for a bit and took me back to the payment part. Tried a 2nd time and same thing happened. I tried to contact PayPal online about the issue but that was a joke. A info search did not have anything that covered my issue. Tried the help option but that was a Chatbot that did not have a clue. No email option. It says there is a "leave message for agent" option but never found it. Figured I would have to call them when I got off work but then decided to check Chrome. I had not updated it in a bit as often the updates are cosmetic and annoying. But I updated Chrome and when I tried again it worked how it is supposed to. The only bummer is the seating seems to be just the row is guaranteed as I have Row 2 but no seat number. There was no option to pick when I purchased. At least I have VIP entrance, ie half hour before general, so might get there then and try and get the seat I want.

I did not do research or anything but being a small show and not a lot of general info I do not think they did anything special. All there is is getting in half an hour earlier than general admission. VIP get in at 4, doors open at 4:30 and bell time is 5. The place is a bit dumpy, it is in a strip mall that looks to be all but deserted. The pics I saw of the inside look nice and they have balcony seating which I saw after buying my ticket and kind of thinking maybe I should have got that but 2nd row is fun. If I had been in 4th row or something then I would have wanted the balcony more. |

I was doing a tiny bit of research as I know next to nothing about the indie scene and discovered ALW was on Fite TV last night. Aces and Eights took on La Sangre and Leva Bates defended the ALW Womens championship against Kilynn King. The show Sunday is also a Fite TV taping and the Women's title match will be the main event. Getting more excited for this. First wrestling show for me in like 5-6 years. Man, where does the time fly lol.
