Hello. I have been playing COTG since 1987 with Legends coming later on. Good stuff! Very recently, I have developed an interest in CHIKARA. Been watching youtube videos, and I see that it is mostly fiction drivem with things like time travel, dragons losing their heads, ancient artifacts, etc. Are the championship titles secondary to the fictional plots and character development, or do they play a big part? I don't know where to start with these cards. Any ideas of starting a fed using the Intro Set, developing sci-fi, adventure, and horror stories as well? How did you run the fiction in your CHIKARA feds? Any help/advice would help as I am really excited to get started on this project! Thanks!

The easiest way to describe Chikara is comic books meet lucha. No story idea is too crazy. Just have fun with it.

Now what you ask? Well, you lock yourself in your bedroom and roll out matches for the next 3-4 days straight. Then, the secrets of CHIKARA, and the Universe, will be revealed to you. That is what the purple unicorn told me anyways.

This is a company that was almost a decade old when they finally crowned a Grand Champion! Absolutely let your imagination run wild with it and have fun, because at its very best that is what Chikara was all about

Do not listen to that on_the_edge. He is my evil twin from another universe. The best advice is what TTX. Just have fun with it. You have a general grasp of what is going on. Maybe watch some matches online, check out wrestlers Wiki pages and then go from there. If you like a story line they did, run with it. If you think of something you would like to do with the characters, run with it. Just remember if you run with it do not have scissors in your hand at that moment. <thumbs up>
