I said this earlier, I believe in this thread, but if youre a paying customer, you have every right to speak up about a product, pro or con
I support the heck out of this game, help getting signings, promoting it whenver and enjoy the vast amount of people in this community, but the one thing I never understand is why everything seems so "secretive".
I doubt people are clamoring to be told that Haku was signed at the last TNT, but just give them an idea. This isnt a huge game company...its a small niche that people have grown into real life friendships, getting together at cons, live or virtually. I think just people want things like "Hey, Legends fans!!! (or GWF or Indy fans) Announcements will begin Friday, October 27. Make sure to check the main site that night to see the first announcement".
Am I wrong in this thinking? I think most people would agree that this is all they want.

My abstinence from hard liquor keeps me from going hard on this thread like I would have years ago, but I'm here for it. I hope you all get your PP to come in the timely fashion you wish and I will light a candle for peace here and in the middle east.
(Spike Huber, Great Wojo, and Bulldog Don Kent are the third release for 2023 Prompter Prime on the legends side. Tom has sworn me to secrecy on the special Gladiators release on the Champions side)

The fans are super protective of this game which is pretty much not like any game I know. Looking forward to those PP cards....definitely need the Midwest representation  (Of course if Wojo is signed, they'll clearly put him in TNT 5) |

It seems like when things are humming along and great sets are being produced on the regular it’s “We’re taking over the Galaxy!” then when things hit pot holes and fans start start demanding answers it’s all of a sudden “Hey we’re a small niche company run by guys with real jobs etc etc” Not a big fan of the victim mentality when your customers are unhappy. If it’s been decided that FG is just this niche company (which is great and fine) then let’s stop making sets for “new buyers” and start focusing 100% on the people who got you here. No more “starter sets”, and no more talk about “confusing new players” with things like crossovers. If we’re really a company for the fans by the fans then at some point you have to strictly focus on the fans you have now and not worry about fans you don’t have yet. |

I had to “like” this post, then “unlike” it just so I could “like it twice.” This is exactly the dichotomy of FG as a company. It seems sometimes like they are trying to do both things (expand and retain, to put it in simplest terms) simultaneously, and as a result, they stumble doing either. |
