What are your thoughts on NFL Week 3 so far?
I have money on Miami to cover so I am loving this Broncos-Dolphins game so far. If you are a Broncos fan, it indeed looks like it is getting late early this season.

My Lions had a nice win. I was happy the Saints were putting a beat down on the Packers, but they blew that. TNF will be for 1st place in the NFC North. I wish TNF was still on NFL Network as I would be able to actually watch at work now. Oh well. Just follow online.
I know the Broncos are not that good, but Miami looked impressive destroying them. With KC and Cincinatti both down right now the AFC looks more wide open.

The Chargers made it interesting, but they helped my Lions out by beating the Vikings.

damn, horrible late game clock management by the Vikings (need to get to the line of scrimmage a little quicker there) which resulted in a rushed play where they get intercepted in the end zone and fall to 0-3.
I knew last season's good regular season record for the Vikings was a mirage based on those 1 score games win in which the Vikings were actually outscored overall but I did not expect the Vikings to be 0-3.
Dolphins score 70 points against the Broncos!

Wow. I had stopped paying attention to the Miami game a while ago. Thus I did not realize they kept on scoring. 70 points. Yikes. I will also say this. If anyone had De'Von (get the tables) Achane on their fantasy football that is all the proof needed to know NFL is scripted. The guy is a 3rd pick and had one carry coming into this game. He ended up with FOUR touchdowns. He scored 49.3 fantasy points. Over 200 years rushing. Where did this guy come from?  ? |

Arizona looks like they might beat the Cowboys. Looks like maybe Trevon Diggs should ask for a BIG pay raise. Either way, just shows what a crazy year in the NFL we are having and will continue to have.
EDIT: The Cowboys blew out the Giants in week 1. The Giants fell behind to the Cardinals but came back to win in week 2. The Cardinals beat the Cowboys in week 3.

I read where the reason the Vikings failed to get off a play earlier was that the Minnesota crowd was making too much noise and the QB could not hear the coach's instructions. But if I am Kirk Cousins in that situation, I just spike the ball to stop the clock and then talk to the coach. Damn, I would have won my morning ticket if the Vikings did not screw up there. |
