Nitro Wrestling 1.7 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype tonight’s main event, Paul Orndorff vs. Sgt. Slaughter. Ross announces that next week will see Randy Savage put his Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title on the line against Bad News Allen. Ross announces that Joe Malenko suffered an injury last week and will be out for a while. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Nikita Koloff vs. Jake MIlliman Koloff squashes Milliman at the bell and wears him down with a bear hug. Koloff crushes Milliman with a Russian Sickle for the win.
Winner - Nikita Koloff by pinfall
After the match, Koloff bloodies Milliman with the Russian chain until Tommy Rich, face still taped up, comes out of the crowd and attacks him! Security storms the ring and the show goes to commercial. When it returns, Saito and Fleming are being introduced.
2. Masa Saito vs. Mark Fleming Saito takes Fleming down and locks on the cross armbreaker but Fleming escapes the hold. Saito locks on the cross armbreaker a second time but Fleming won’t tap and fights his way to the ropes. Saito dumps Fleming on his neck and shoulders with a Saito suplex but Fleming is too close to the ropes to cover. Saito hits a Russian Leg Sweep for the win.
Winner - Masa Saito by pinfall
Ross and Cornette are both impressed with Saito. Ross says Tommy Rich isn’t medically cleared to wrestle but challenged Nikita Koloff to wrestle him in the big two hour episode in three weeks. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. John Studd vs. Billy Wicks Cornette says Studd is a foot taller and weighs twice as much as Wicks so he doesn’t like Wicks’ chances. Studd squashes Wicks and locks on the backbreaker. Wicks quickly submits.
Winner - Big John Studd by submission
Wicks is favoring his back after the match but makes his way to the back under his own power. Cornette and Ross introduce the main event.
4. Paul Orndorff vs. Sgt. Slaughter Orndorff and Slaughter battle all over the ring area. Orndorff suplexes Slaughter on the concrete but Slaughter beats the count back into the ring. Orndorff hits the jumping piledriver but Slaughter gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Orndorff hits a back suplex but Slaughter kicks out. Orndorff throws Slaughter out of the ring and Slaughter makes a comeback, slamming Orndorff’s head into the ring post, busting him open. The referee warns Slaughter as he throws Orndorff back into the ring. Slaughter locks on the Cobra Clutch and Orndorff taps out.
Winner - Sgt. Slaughter by submission
Slaughter gets on the mic after the match and says the big gold Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title belt would look good around his waist. Cornette and Ross thank the fans for coming and tell them to tune in next week when Randy Savage takes on Bad News Allen with the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title on the line!

Nitro Wrestling 1.8 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Randy Savage vs. Bad News Allen for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title! Cornette announces Billy Wicks suffered a back injury last week and will be unable to wrestle Stan Hansen this week but Nitro Wrestling will find him a suitable opponent. Ross announces that Nikita Koloff has accepted Tommy Rich’s challenge for two weeks from tonight but only if Rich will wrestle him in a Russian Chain Match. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Great Gama vs. Tom Stone Gama works Stone over at the bell and hits a gut wrench throw for a two count. Gama hits the Gama Throw for the win.
Winner - Great Gama by pinfall
Cornette says Gama is a force to be reckoned with. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Lord Zoltan vs. Wilbur Snyder Snyder takes Zoltan apart for the opening minutes. Zoltan rebounds and goes on the attack. Zoltan repeatedly bloodies Snyder with a foreign object and covers him for a two count. Zoltan hits a falling chop for a two count. Zoltan gets caught jabbing Snyder with a foreign object outside the ring and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Wilbur Snyder by DQ
Snyder and Zoltan continue fighting outside the ring after the match until security arrives. Ross says we haven’t seen the last of Snyder vs. Zoltan. Cornette reminds the audience that Billy Wicks was injured last week. Stan Hansen makes his way out to the ring and runs down the audience and Billy Wicks. Billy Wicks comes through the curtain in his street clothes. Wicks holds the curtain open and out comes Gary Jay! Hansen laughs as Gary jay storms the ring.
3. Stan Hansen vs. Gary Jay Cornette says Gary Jay just doesn’t know when to stay away. Hansen chops Gary Jay to start the match. Gary takes it and goes on the attack. Gary pummels Hansen but can’t keep the Texan down. Gary goes to the top and Hansen goes up after him. Gary hits a few elbow strikes to the head and Hansen tumbles back into the ring. Gary hits the tornado flatliner for a two count. Gary bounces off the buckles and nails Hansen with the roaring elbow for the win.
Winner - Gary Jay by pinfall
Gary is mobbed by the crowd as he leaves the ring. Hansen comes to and gets on the mic, saying he prepared for Billy Wicks. Wicks is handed a mic and says he and Hansen have gone down this road before and challenges Hansen to a loser leaves town match next week. Hansen says he’ll be happy to run Wicks out of the territory.
4. Randy Savage vs. Bad News Allen - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match Bad News tries to attack Savage before the bell but Savage was waiting for him and plants him. Savage hits the flying elbow smash for a two count. Bad News and Savage battle outside the ring and Savage comes out on top. Savage hits another flying elbow smash to retain the gold.
Winner - Randy Savage by pinfall, his first title defense
After the match, Savage gets on the mic and says Sgt Slaughter better be careful what he wishes for because in two weeks, he’s got the Macho Man! Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Billy Wicks vs. Stan Hansen in a Loser Leaves Town match

Nitro Wrestling 1.9 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Billy Wicks and Stan Hansen in a Loser Leaves Town match. Ross announces that Randy Savage vs. Sgt Slaughter has been made official for next week, as well as Tommy Rich vs. Nikita Koloff in a Russian Chain Match and Wilbur Snyder vs. Lord Zoltan. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Farmer Burns vs. Jake Milliman Burns spends the opening minutes tying Milliman in knots. Burns wears Milliman down with the grinding toehold. Milliman struggles to his feet and Burns drops him with the Iowa Backdrop for the win.
Winner - Farmer Burns by pinfall
Ross puts over Farmer Burns. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Paul Orndorff vs. Mark Fleming Orndorff attacks Fleming at 100 MPH to start the match. Fleming weathers the storm and htis a double arm suplex for a two count. Orndorff turns things back around and hits a stalling vertical suplex for a two count. Orndorff nails Fleming with a brutal short arm clothesline for the win.
Winner - Paul Orndorff by pinfall
Ross says Orndorff is a ticking time bomb and everyone should watch their backs. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Angelo Mosca vs. Al Snow Mosca bulldozes Snow and hits a tackle in the corner. Mosca covers Snow for the three count.
Winner - Angelo Mosca by pinfall
Ross says Mosca is back to his winning ways. Cornette introduces the main event, adding that no allies are permitted at ringside.
4. Billy Wicks vs. Stan Hansen - Loser Leaves Town Wicks and Hansen battle back and forth. Wicks misses a turnbuckle charge and Hansen rolls him up for a two count. Hansen locks on the Brazos Valley Backbreaker, grinding on Wicks’ recently injured back, but Wicks fights his way to the ropes. Hansen drags Wicks into the middle of the ring and locks on the Brazos Valley Backbreaker a second time. Wicks taps out.
Winner - Stan Hansen by submission. Billy Wicks is banished from Nitro Wrestling for six months!
Ross and Cornette thank the fans for tuning in and invite them to tune in next week for Randy Savage vs. Sgt Slaughter for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title plus Tommy Rich vs. Nikita Koloff in a Russian Chain Match, Wilbur Snyder vs. Lord Zoltan, plus Farmer Burns, Paul Orndorff, Angelo Mosca, and many more!

Sorry to see Wicks go but that's how things go. Go Farmer Burns. I decided it's been too soon since I did Hansen vs. Wicks in USA Wrestling and I didn't want to repeat it. I'll bring Wicks back eventually.

Nitro Wrestling 1.10 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to a special two hour episode of Nitro Wrestling. Ross and Cornette hype Tommy Rich vs. Nikita Koloff in a Russian chain match, Wilbur Snyder vs. Lord Zoltan, and Randy Savage vs. Sgt Slaughter for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title and throw it to Gary Michael Cappetta.
1. Gary Jay vs. Bad News Allen Bad News Allen attacks Gary Jay from behind as he walks down the aisle and slams him into a ring post, busting him open. Bad News rolls Gary into the ring and the bell rings. Gary gets to his feet on shaky legs and Bad News nails him with a Ghetto Blaster for a two count. Bad News hits a leg drop and drills Gary with a second Ghetto Blaster but Gary gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Bad News wastes time arguing with the referee. Bad News throws Gary Jay out of the ring. Bad News and Gary battle back and forth. Bad News gets caught choking Gary with a microphone cord and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Gary Jay by DQ
Gary and Bad News brawl until security arrives. Cornette says Gary Jay is biting off more than he can chew with Bad News Allen. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Wilbur Snyder vs. Lord Zoltan Zoltan goes to the eyes at the opening bell but Snyder fights back and locks on a body scissors, wearing Zoltan down. Zoltan makes a comeback and nails Snyder with a foreign object. Zoltan locks on the triangle death grip but Snyder escapes the hold. Snyder nails Zoltan with a flying tackle for a two count. Snyder hits a second flying tackle for the win.
Winner - Wilbur Snyder by submission
Ross puts over Wilbur Snyder’s scientific ability. A video package of Nikita Koloff’s attack on Tommy Rich is shown. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Tommy Rich vs. Nikita Koloff - Russian Chain Match! JIm Ross reminds the audience that a wrestler will have to drag his partner to all four corners of the ring to win as the referee binds Rich and Koloff. Koloff attacks first, pummeling Rich. Koloff tries whipping Rich with the chain but Rich wraps the chain in his fist and goes to work on Koloff. Rich hits the Thesz Press but can’t even touch one corner. Rich wears Koloff down with the Wildfire Sleeper but can’t touch a single corner. Rich hits another Thesz Press and bloodiest Koloff’s forehead with the chain. He manages to touch one corner before Koloff pulls him back in the middle of the ring. Rich and Koloff battle outside the ring and Koloff makes a comeback, bloodying Rich with the chain. Koloff nails Rich with the Russian Sickle but Rich keeps him from touching any corners. Koloff nails a second Russian Sickle and pulls Rich up by the hair. Rich makes a comeback and hits the Thesz Press, nailing Koloff in the face with his chain wrapped fists until Koloff stops fighting back. Rich drags Koloff from corner to corner, leaving a smear of blood on the canvas, and touches all four corners.
Winner - Tommy Rich
The crowd is dead silent as Rich leaves the ring. Koloff is helped to the back. Jim Ross and Jim Cornette introduce the next match.
4. Paul Orndorff vs. Farmer Burns Orndorff is aggressive early on and whips Burns to the ropes. Burns bounces off with a flying tackle and takes control. Burns hits the Iowa Backdrop but Orndorff kicks out. Burns hits a second Iowa Backdrop but can’t keep Mr. Wonderful down. Burns misses a turnbuckle charge and Orndorff rolls him up with a handful of tights for a two count. Mr. Wonderful hits a forearm drop for a two count. Orndorff hits a back suplex for the win.
Winner - Paul Orndorff by pinfall
Cornette says Orndorff needs a manager to rein him in. Ross asks Cornette if he knows any and introduces the next match.
5. Angelo Mosca vs. Prince Kharis Mosca dominates Kharis. Mosca nails him with a elbow smash to the face and covers him for the win.
Winner - Angelo Mosca by pinfall
After the match, Mosca challenges the winner of tonight’s main event. Ross and Cornette introduce the main event.
6. Randy Savage vs. Sgt Slaughter - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match Slaughter gets the early advantage but Savage turns things around and flattens Sarge with a neckbreaker clothesline. Savage hits the flying elbow smash but Sarge kicks out. Savage continues his attack and hits the double axe handle for a two count. Savage hits the running knee to the back for a two count. Savage hits another double axe handle for a two count. Sarge can’t get any momentum going. Savage whips Slaughter to the ropes and goes for a backdrop but Sarge hits a piledriver and starts the crowd in a USA chant! Slaughter hits a backbreaker drop for a two count. Slaughter throws Savage out of the ring. The two men brawl into the crowd. Slaughter nails Savage with a steel chair. The referee warns Slaughter as he rolls Savage back into the ring. Savage and Slaughter battle back and forth. Slaughter whips Savage to the ropes and they clothesline each other to the mat. Savage recovers first. Savage goes to the top and hits the flying elbow smash for the win.
Winner - Randy Savage by pinfall, his second title defense
Jim Cornette and Jim Ross thank the fans for tuning in and invite them to tune in next week when Gary Jay takes on Bad News Allen in a rematch in the main event!
