Well that just probably jinxed him to losing the belt. Anytime someone congratulates a champ, the belt seems to change hands in a Gunslinger fed. I didn't expect that either. I'm either bringing Macho Man back when someone else gets six defenses or the belt becomes a hot potato.

Nitro Wrestling 1.23 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Big John Studd vs. Joe Malenko. Ross announces that Paul Orndorff will make his first defense of the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title in two weeks against Great Gama. Ross announces that Randy Savage is taking some time off to let some injuries heal but will get a shot at the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title when he returns. Cornette adds that Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Wilbur Snyder has been signed for next week’s main event with the winner getting a shot at the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title some time down the road. Ross introduces the first match.
1. Jack Brisco vs. Johnny Rodz Brisco bounces Rodz off the turnbuckle and clobbers him with a clothesline at the bell. Brisco hits the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco locks on the figure four and Rodz taps out.
Winner - Jack Brisco by submission
Ross and Cornette put over Jack Brisco. Ross introduces the next match.
2. The Trooper vs. Nord the Barbarian Nord and the Trooper battle back and forth. Nord dominates The Trooper outside the ring. The Trooper makes a comeback and locks on the Big Pinch but Nord fights his way out of the hold. Nord makes a comeback and hits a clothesline for a two count. Nord and The Trooper trade the advantage back and forth. Nord hits a power slam for a two count. The Trooper rallies and clamps on The Big Pinch but can’t get the submission. Nord makes a comeback and hits the boot to the face for a two count. Nord hits the leg drop but The Trooper kicks out. Nord locks on the full nelson and The Trooper gives up.
Winner - Nord the Barbarian by submission
After the match, Nord refuses to release the full nelson. The time keeper repeatedly rings the bell until The Crusher, booked in the next match, hits the ring and nails Nord with the Crusher Bolo. Security escorts Nord to the back and The Crusher waits for his opponent to arrive.
3. The Crusher vs. Prince Kharis Prince Kharis takes the fight to The Crusher and hits the Magical Mummy Forearm for a two count. The Crusher makes a comeback and nails Prince Kharis with the Crusher Bolo but Kharis kicks out. The Crusher winds up and nails Kharis with a second Crusher Bolo for the win.
Winner - The Crusher by pinfall
After the match, The Crusher challenges that bum Nord the Barbarian to a match. Ross puts over The Crusher. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Big John Studd vs. Joe Malenko Studd goes right to work on Malenko’s back and tries breaking him in half with a backbreaker over his knee. Malenko fights his way out of the hold. Studd hoists Malenko up in a backbreaker but Malenko manages to escape the hold. Studd clobbers Malenko and hoists him up in the backbreaker again. Malenko fights his way out of the hold. Studd beats up Malenko outside the ring and hoists him up in the backbreaker a third time but Malenko still won’t tap out. Studd hits a backbreaker outside the ring and Malenko is counted out.
Winner - Big John Studd by count out
The crowd pelts Big John Studd with trash after the match. As Studd makes his way to the back, Angelo Mosca comes through the curtain and gets in his face. Security pulls the two big men apart. Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when Stanislaus Zbyszko takes on Wilbur Snyder in the main event!

Nitro Wrestling 1.24 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Wilbur Snyder. Ross announces that Big John Studd vs. Angelo Mosca and The Crusher vs. Nord the Barbarian have been added to next week’s special two hour show. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Jack Brisco vs. Mark Fleming Fleming gets in some offense early on but Brisco rolls him up with the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco hits a knee breaker for a two count. Fleming gets in some offense but Brisco rolls him up with a small package for a two count. Brisco hits the lateral guillotine for the three count.
Winner - Jack Brisco by pinfall
Ross puts over Jack Brisco as a future champion. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Lord Zoltan vs. Ron Hutchison Zoltan wastes no time and bloodies Hutch with a foreign object. Zoltan locks on the triangle death grip and Hutchison taps out.
Winner - Lord Zoltan by submission
Cornette says it doesn’t pay to underestimate Lord Zoltan. Ross introduces the next match, promising some hard hitting action.
3. Bad News vs. Masa Saito Saito gets the early advantage and focuses his attack on Bad News’ arm. Bad News dodges a turnbuckle splash and rolls Saito up for a two count. Bad News goes on the attack but Saito shuts him down and hits a Russian leg sweep for a two count. Saito nails Bad News with the Saito Suplex but Bad News kicks out. Saito and Bad News battle outside the ring and Bad News comes out on top. Saito and Bad News battle back and forth. Saito hits a second Saito Suplex for the win.
Winner - Masa Saito by pinfall
Ross says Saito badly needed that win. Cornette says Bad News didn’t need the loss either and introduces the main event.
4. Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Wilbur Snyder Zbyszko and Snyder battle back and forth. Zbsyzko hits the half nelson and slam for a two count. Zbyszko hits the half nelson and slam a second time but Snyder kicks out. Zbyszko and Snyder battle outside the ring. Zbyszko hits a double arm suplex on the concrete and Snyder is nearly counted out. Snyder mounts a comeback and locks on the abdominal stretch. Zbyszko refuses to submit so Snyder rolls him into a pinning predicament for a two count. Zbyszko makes a comeback and locks on the hammerlock but Snyder fights his way to the ropes. Snyder rallies and hits a dropkick but Zbyszko no sells it and whips him to the buckles. Snyder reverses it and hits a flying head scissors for a two count. Zbyszko turns things around but Snyder rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Snyder and Zbyszko battle back and forth. Nitro Wrestling 1.25 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Paul Orndorff vs. Great Gama for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title. Jim Ross mentions Joe Malenko injured his back last week and will be out for some time. Jim Cornette points out Gary Jay in the front row, saying it’s about time they made him buy a ticket. Jim Ross introduces the first match.
1. Ron Hutchison vs. Prince Kharis Hutch and Kharis battle back and forth. Kharis takes control and hits the Magical Mummy Forearm for a two count. Kharis wears Hutchison down with a bear hug. Kharis hits a second Magical Mummy Forearm for the win.

Studd and Mosca battle back and forth. Studd dodges a turnbuckle charge and covers Mosca for a two count. Mosca makes a comeback and nails Studd with another elbow smash to the face. Mosca hits a backbreaker for a two count. Mosca clamps on the sleeper but Studd backs him into the corner. Mosca nails Studd with another elbow smash to the face and clamps on the sleeper. Studd taps out.

As Studd leaves ringside, a man jumps out of the crowd and attacks him! It’s The Great Malenko! Malenko clobbers Studd and locks on the Russian Sickle until security arrives! Ross and Cornette hype The Great Malenko and introduce the next match.
3. Masa Saito Vs. Fit Finlay Finlay and Saito battle back and forth. Finlay gets some momentum going and hits a Tombstone piledriver for a two count. Saito and Finlay brawl outside the ring. Finlay rolls Saito back into the ring and hits another Tombstone for the win.

Ross and Cornette put over Finlay and introduce the next match.
4. The Crusher vs. Nord the Barbarian The Crusher and Nord battle back and forth. The Crusher gets the advantage and nails Nord with the Crusher Bolo for a two count. The Crusher hits a second Crusher Bolo for a two count. The Crusher locks on the Crusher Nelson and Nord taps out.

5. Bad News Allen vs. Rob Van Dam Bad News pummels RVD in the early minutes. Van Dam rolls him up for a two count after a missed turnbuckle charge. Van Dam plants Bad News and hits the five star frog splash but Bad News kicks out. RVD hits the split legged moonsault for the win.

Bad News is furious after the loss but Van Dam wastes no time leaving the ring area. Ross and Cornette introduce the main event.
6. Paul Orndorff vs. Great Gama - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight little match Gama throws Orndorff all over the ring at the bell. Orndorff rolls out of the ring and tries walking away but Gary Jay gets in his face at the guard rail and Gama throws him back into the ring. Gama hits two Gama Throws but Orndorff kicks out. Gama hits a waistlock suplex for a two count and hits another Gama Throw but Orndorff gets his foot on the ropes. Gama hits the double leg and slam for the three count.
Winner - Great Gama by pinfall! Great Gama is the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight champion!
Orndorff is furious as he leaves the ring and attacks Gary Jay at ringside, pulling him over the guardrail. Security hits the ring and Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for The Great Malenko vs. Big John Studd in the main event.

Ross announces that Great Gama will take on Paul Orndorff next week with the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title on the line. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Gary Jay vs. Johnny Rodz Rodz attacks Jay before the bell. Gary battles back and hits a tornado Flatliner for a two count. Gary clocks Rodz with the roaring elbow but Rodz lands too close to the ropes to cover. Gary hits the roaring elbow a second time for the win.

After the match, Gary gets on the mic and says Paul Orndorff is thin skinned if he can’t take a little heckling and challenges ‘Paula’ to a match. Cornette says Orndorff will make him eat those words. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Wilbur Snyder vs. Mark Fleming Snyder and Fleming battle back and forth. Snyder catches Fleming with a body scissors and Fleming taps out.

Nitro Wrestling 1.27 Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Great Gama vs. Paul Orndorff with the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title on the line. Ross mentions that Angelo Mosca has left the territory. Jim Cornette announces that Stanislaus Zbyszko will face the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, whomever that may be, on a two hour episode of Nitro Wrestling in three weeks.
1. Farmer Burns vs. Eric the Red Burns and Eric battle back and forth. Burns gets some offense going and hits the half nelson and slam for a two count. Burns hits the Iowa Backdrop but can’t quite put Eric away. Eric makes a comeback and nails Burns with some knee smashes for a two count. Eric nails Burns with his bone and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Farmer Burns by DQ
Ross says Eric might have won if he hadn’t resorted to illegal tactics. Cornette introduces the next match.
