I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Ricky Morton has had to cancel being on this show. Looks like I won't get to see him in person. He has been bumped to the anniversary show next year, he will be with his son, but I will not be at that show. I will miss him, Steph De Lander and Miranda Gordy, daughter of the legend Terry Gordy. That is life.

ALW is teasing that tonight they will announce the final guest for their anniversary show in February. It is supposed to be a WWE Hall of Famer and an absolute legend. I will not be making that show and I cannot believe I will miss out on seeing Drew Carey  |

This company sure does not have their act together. Instead of making the announcement last night they did an announcement for another event that a company they work with is doing. It is for people who are in or want to be in the business of wrestling. Afa is heading the seminar that talks about branding, promos, etc. It is cool if in the biz. Then today they have the official "press release" and the WWF HOF name is in there. It is Gerald Brisco who will be in his son's corner I am guessing. Got to admit it would have been cool to see him in person.

The Headbangers will be defending their tag titles against a team that has not been in ALW for 4 years and were the first ALW Tag Champs, TNT. What is neat about them is they are the sons of D-Von Dudley.

I'm a bit more excited for the show this Sunday as a Falls Count Somewhere match has been announced. That has the chance to be a real hoot.

I did not check the ALW Facebook before going to the show tonight so I missed that Deonna and Renee were not going to be there due to injuries. Between Deonna not being there and Krampus being a no show I was a bit disappointed. Leva Bates ended up taking on some former NXT wrestler that I am not familiar with. The peace princess or groovy queen or something like that. All I know is Leva pulled an Eddie Guerrero by bringing her cane into the ring, tossing it to her opponent as the referee was distracted and then fell onto the mat to make it look like she got hit. The referee bought it and DQ'd the other woman so Leva is the #1 challenger to the Women's title. The show was ok but not as fun as the first one I went to.
