Baltimore Civic Center Brutus Beefcake used a jumping high knee to pin Brickhouse Brown
Sgt.Slaughter and Wahoo McDaniel squared off in a three phases of fighting match. The match consists of 3 falls, the first fall is under Boot Camp (falls count anywhere) rules, the second fall is a Taped Fist (will make Wahoo’s chops more deadly). If needed a final fall, is in a Steel Cage!
Phase 1 - Wahoo McDaniel hit the Tomahawk Chop in a restroom to take a 1-0 lead!!
Greg Valentine defeated Dan Spivey with the Figure Four Leglock.
Minor Champion Dynamite Kid (def. 1) pinned Lanny Poffo after a diving head butt.
Phase 2 - Sgt. Slaughter evened the match with a Vertical Suplex after slugging Wahoo repeatedly. The cage will get brought out to settle this match.
The Warlord with Rock Riddle pinned Nord after a running power slam.
Magnificent Muraco and Mr. Fuji beat Jimmy Snuka and Paul Orndorff after Muraco used the Hawaiian Hammer on Snuka.
Phase 3 - Sgt Slaughter bloodied Wahoo McDaniel to escape the cage. Sarge used a pair of gutbusters to setup his exit and win 2-1.

Hartford Civic Center Sgt. Slaughter used the cobra to down Bob Cook
Wahoo McDaniel a DQ win from Manny Fernandez. A double brawl at ringside led to Fernandez swinging a board he pulled from under the ring.
The Russians, Nikita Koloff and Boris the Great beat the US Express after Boris used his Sickle hold on Mike Rotunda. The Russians look like a team headed into the title picture.
John Studd used a big elbow drop to pin Gorilla Monsoon. A clash of titans here as Monsoon almost had a win with his Manchurian Landslide.
Hiro Matsuda downed Missing Link in a match where the Singapore Cane is legal. An awesome tooth and nail encounter as both men bled from punishment. An Indian Death Lock with Matsuda hooking the cane on the ropes led to a big win.
3 v 3 tag match; Tag champions Bob Backlund and Jimmy Valiant teamed with Andre the Giant to face Jimmy Hart’s Super Destroyers and big gun the One Man Gang. As expected, chaos reigned with a slingshot suplex pinning Valiant. Jimmy Hart has asked for a title match for the Super Ds. Backlund and Valiant eagerly accepted.

Boston Garden Andre the Giant won a 22-man battle royal to earn a future title shot. The final four boiled down to Andre, Bobo Brazil, Bob Backlund and surprise survivor Steve Keirn. Brazil tossed out a determined Keirn while Andre disposed of Backlund. The two big men laid out the head butts but Andre prevailed to the win the prize money and trophy!
Juventud Guerrera pinned Rip Rogers with a Northern lights suplex.
US Express, Windham and Rotunda downed The Fabulous Ones when a flying elbow smash landed just right to KO Stan Lane. The US Express were concerned but Lane recovered and both teams left ringside together.
One Man Gang won the Prime Time Championship from Kurt Angle after a devastating 747 Splash. Manager Jimmy Hart celebrated his new champion’s big win!! Observers noted that Angle may have suffered some internal injury in that recent Triple Threat match with Wahoo and Nikita Koloff.
Austin Idol and Mike Graham w/dq from Kevin Sullivan and Maha Singh. Jimmy Hart cannot contain the First Family of Fear as Sullivan and “newcomer” Singh caused all sorts of havoc.
Minor Champion Dynamite Kid w/DQ over Hiro Matsuda. Matsuda was wired for this match and maybe he thought he was still in combat with the wild, Missing Link.
In a Piper’s Pit segment, Major champion Rick Rude claims he ran off his next challenger, Hacksaw Duggan. Piper told Rude that Duggan was hurt outside the ring and that Rude cannot run anyone off. The two argued and the segment wrapped up with Piper as the next challenger for Rude!!
Wahoo McDaniel pinned Manny Fernandez with a falling chop in a typical wild brawl from these two long-time enemies. Since The Raging Bull returned he has taken aim at his old foe Wahoo McDaniel. Fernandez damaged Wahoo’s head dress after the match which continued their brawling.
Tag-team champions (1) Bob Backlund and Jimmy Valiant w/dq from Jimmy Hart’s Super Destroyers. One of the Super Ds used a bullwhip on Backlund, a rematch is signed where the titles are at stake where the bullwhip is legal.

#218 PTW - Madison Square Garden. - p1 Hiro Matsuda used the Sleeper to down Keith Steinborn
Lanny Poffo reversed the cross arm breaker and landed the Sky Drop to pin Joe Malenko
A Lumberjack tag match had Kevin Sullivan and Maha Singh upset Austin Idol and Mike Graham. Not a clean win as lumberjack Hiro Matsuda and Mike Graham argued frequently with the last incident leading to a Sullivan piledriver for the pin.
Minor Champion Dynamite Kid (2) defeated former champ Juventud Guerrera 2 falls to 0. A diving head butt won an exciting, back and forth first fall. Guerrera was counted out after another diving head butt had him roll to the floor. Juvy was too groggy to beat the count.
The Russians, Nikita Koloff and Boris the Great fought to a time limit draw with the Fabulous Ones. Stan Lane stunned Koloff early in the match as the Russian Nightmare missed a couple of turnbuckle charges almost getting pinned. The Russians rebounded and had the upper hand when the bell rang. A great tag match, as each team is vying for a tag-team title shot.
Prime Time Champion (1) One Man Gang lost by countout to Andre the Giant . Andre challenged the new champion fresh off his battle royal win. Gang was bloodied but would not get pinned but ultimately lost too much blood to continue as he was at his “max” for punishment.

Former Prime Time and Major champion Kurt Angle used a German suplex to pin the Cuban Assassin.
Gorilla Monsoon and John Studd fought to a DDQ. A real pull apart brawl which led to…
Mark Henry used the World Strongest Slam to take a quick upset win over King Kong Bundy. all hell broke loose with Studd and Heenan coming to Bundy’s side and Gorilla Monsoon taking up with Mark Henry. A 2v2 rematch is signed for a future event.
Wahoo McDaniel defeated Manny Fernandez on a Ladder Match. Wahoo’s headdress was at stake as if Bull won, he likely would have destroyed it but Wahoo promised that if he won, Manny would not have enough blood to lift a finger to touch it. The ring announcer bailed as both men exchanged blows, Wahoo was enraged as he busted open Manny early and the ladder was used throughout. Each man was a bloody mess, but Fernandez was in worse shape. Wahoo came off the ladder with a chop but Manny stopped him from climbing up. Truthfully, Manny barely grabbed the big chief as Wahoo wanted to finish him off with a devastating Overhead Chop which KOd Bull. Fernandez is going into sabbatical as this beating and one to the Road Warriors has created some injuries.
Roddy Piper won the Major championship over Rick Rude. Gordon Solie interviewed Piper on his big match but Heenan and Rude interrupted and tried to sneak attack Roddy. Piper was alert and dodged this while using the title belt to wallop both Rude and Heenan!
Piper applied the pressure during the match hitting the bulldogs. Rude rallied and finally had Piper in trouble, but Piper had a trick of his own and may have slugged Rude with a Foreign Object. The move got Piper the pin and title as the referee and Heenan missed any foul play. Piper is the new champ much to Rude and Heenan’s protests!!
Bullwhip is Legal for the tag team championship: Bob Backlund and Jimmy Valiant successfully defended (2) against Jimmy Hart’s Super Destroyers. The champs grabbed the bullwhip from the opening bell and had the masked duo on the run. Valiant and Backlund used the whip like experts with Backlund whipping Super Destroyer 1 over and over shredding the mask in the process! Their ID’s were safe as blood and parts of the mask still concealed their face but what an ending!!

Prime Time Champion: One Man Gang Major Champion: Roddy Piper Minor Champion: Dynamite Kid
1 - Andre The Giant 2 - Rick Rude 3 - Kurt Angle 4 - Wahoo McDaniel 5 - Mark Henry 6 - John Studd 7- Hiro Matsuda 8 - Sgt. Slaughter 9 - Lanny Poffo 10 - Jim Duggan
Tag Team Champions: Bob Backlund and Jimmy Valiant 1 - Super Destroyers? 2 - Russians (Nikita and Boris The Great) 3 - Fabulous Ones 4 - US Express 5 - Dream Team
Ladies Champion: Sherri Martel 1- Malia Hosaka 2 - Sue Green
NOTES: Manny Fernandez is headed out of the area as he has suffered severe injuries of late and needs a change of scenery to recover….The Super Destroyers are headed out as well since they were literally whipped by the current tag team champions. Jimmy Hart said the loss means little, since he has the PTW champion One Man Gang and future tag-champs Kevin Sullivan and Maha Singh waiting in the wings along with the new Purple Haze to do his bidding. Hart has built a powerful group of wrestlers….
Who are the next tag-team challengers and will Andre The Giant get a rematch with Prime Time Champion One Man Gang? Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan are loudly complaining about losing the Major championship to Roddy Piper, something tells us this is not over. ..
Finally, Hiro Matsuda has made a surprise splash since entering Prime Time. First he engaged in a feud with Missing Link, this rivalry came out of nowhere with their surprisingly great matches. The feud culminated in that dramatic Singapore Cane match. Then Matsuda lost by DQ in his heated try for Dynamite Kid’s Minor championship and now is in a rivalry with Mike Graham over an incident during a lumberjack match. Matsuda looks like a true ring master since making his debut.

#219 - West Palm Beach Auditorium
Cuban Assassin beat Bob Cook with Fidel Backbreaker
Danny Hodge W/DQ over Hiro Matsuda`
Taped Fist Grudge Match - Paul Orndorff challenged and defeated Bob Orton, Jr.
No-DQ, First Time in Prime Time: Johnny Valentine upset Wahoo McDaniel with a bloody, KO of the Big Chief. Greg Valentine joined his dad on a post match beat down as McDaniel was stretchered out.
Special 3v3 elimination match: Terry Gordy, Dr. Death and Jim Duggan downed One Man Gang, Missing Link and John Nord.
Eliminations: Gordy pinned Link with a pile driver. . . Nord w/dq over Dr. Death. . . Duggan over Gang by DQ when Gang used a photographers camera and finally Duggan won by DQ over Nord after getting choked with a chain. Gordy and Duggan were the survivors. Nord blamed all the DQ falls on Dr. Death starting things with a vicious chair smash, but most observers noticed it was Nord who used the most illegal tactics, but Doc was the one caught.
NOTES: Paul Orndorff slugged his way to victory in a measure of revenge for all the problems ‘Ace’ has caused him all these years. The Taped Fist stipulations are Mr. Wonderful’s type of match. . .
Prime Time officials have suspended the Valentines for their sneak attack on Wahoo. The suspension will last until Wahoo is cleared to wrestle. The Big Chief regained consciousness and challenged the duo to a tag team match when he heals up. McDaniel said he is getting a partner who hates the Valentines as much as he does! . . . One Man Gang is the new Prime Time Champion but some old enemies like Doc, Gordy and Duggan are in line for the champion along with #1 contender, Andre The Giant!

#220 at Cleveland, OH Austin Idol used the Vegas Leglock to beat Rip Rogers
The Russians (Nikita Koloff and Boris the Great) defeated Brutus Beefcake and Johnny V (subbing for the suspended Greg Valentine) when Malenko used his Russian Sickle to submit Valiant.
Joe Malenko beat Minor champion Dynamite Kid (d4) by DQ as both men tugged on the title belt but Kid slammed the gold into Malenko’s back.
Larry Sharpe upset Lanny Poffo by countout in a bonus match.
Mark Henry and Gorilla Monsoon beat John Studd and King Kong Bundy as the crowd erupted when Henry used his World’s Strongest Slam on Studd!!
Hiro Matsuda beat Mike Graham in a back and forth match using the abdominal stretch.
The Fabulous Ones defeated Hart’s First Family of Fear (Sullivan and Singh) by countout. A pair of flying forearms dazed Singh and he could not return to the ring. Referee Dick Woehrle had little tolerance for the mayhem that Hart’s squad usually causes.
Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) pinned Paul Orndorff (with Oliver Humperdink) with the Hawaiian Hammer.
Rick Rude w-DQ over Major Champion Roddy Piper (d1).
NOTES: Johnny V demanded to take Greg Valentine’s place and also start the match against the Russians but promptly lost to Malenko’s Sickle hold. The loss and suspension has knocked the Dream Team out of title contention and catapulting the Russians to the #1 spot. Valiant looked disgusted with Beefcake after the loss. The Russians meanwhile, have not lost in tag-team competition.
Lance Russell interviewed Andre The Giant, who was looking for a rematch with Prime Time champ One Man Gang. Footage was shown of a bloody Gang losing by countout to the Giant in their last bout. Gang approached the interview area and said Andre will not get as lucky as that last bout as he and manager Jimmy Hart have a surprise for him. Officials and security kept the two giants separated but you have to wonder what Hart has in store for Andre or is it a bluffing to play mind games with the challenger?
Roddy Piper was pumped up for his match as displayed with a pre match interview with Gordon Solie. The excitement continued as he controlled Rick Rude for most of the match but Piper got a bit Rowdy when Heenan tripped Piper when he had the sleeper locked in! Piper rebounded from this disruption, as announcer Jim Ross noted that Roddy is tougher than a $2 steak to let the Brain keep him down. Piper was DQ’d for using a foreign object he grabbed from Heenan. These two are not done with each other.
