I think I am going to this show here in Las Vegas at the Dive Bar (which had shut down earlier this year but is now open again) the night before the New Japan show at Sam's Town:

I just realized this show takes place on Nevada Day which is an annual day off at work for me.
The venue for this show, the Dive Bar, has had its layout changed over time. Originally, however, during the days of the mob here in Las Vegas, part of the Dive Bar's location was a lounge called My Place that was frequented by Tony Spilotro (he was the basis for Joe Pesci's character in the movie Casino) and other notable mobsters. Next door to My Place was an Italian restaurant called Upper Crust (now a Cricket Wireless) which was owned by Hole on the Wall Gang members Frank Cullotta and Leo Guardino.

I just bought my ticket for tonight's show ($15 online vs $20 at the door.) I think there is only 3 matches on this show and I don't think the music between the matches is my type of music, but I plan on having some fun tonight at the Dive Bar.

As long as you can enjoy yourself it's worth the while. Enjoy, Vegas.

Beer - making bad music a tad bit better ever since the first friar picked up a lute and shared his "gift". It turns out the band did not make it so it was just wrestling matches tonight at the Dive Bar. Last Summer the Dive Bar actually shut down for awhile so I am glad that place has reopened as I have had alot of fun there seeing some of my favorite bands (I have been there until almost 4 AM at times) but the bands I like that I see at the Dive Bar are punk rock bands (US Bombs, Off With Their Heads, The Queers, Real Mckenzies, Reagen Youth, etc) and I think tonight's band was going to be a thrash metal band? I have seen lots of bands play at the Dive Bar but tonight's show was my first time seeing wrestling at the Dive Bar. Before tonight's show started I made a signing for the game who we have been trying to sign. I also got my Bobby Beverly card autographed. Bobby Beverly was advertised for the show and he was there but for some reason he did not wrestle and his fellow 44OH! member Atticus Cogar took his place. First match: Atticus Cogar defeated Jody (a local Las Vegas wrestler.) There is no room for a ring at the Dive Bar so all of these matches were basically bar fights like Suburan Fight Pro (I went to several SFP shows) did when they ran shows before shutting down due to the pandemic. Second match: Hoodfoot defeated Papa Jace (a local Las Vegas wrestler.) Third match: Circle 6 World Champion Matthew Justice defeated Sonico. I wore my Matthew F'N Justice shirt to tonight's show and Justice saw it during his entrance and pointed to me. At one point this match went into the bathroom of the Dive Bar and I have been to the Dive Bar enough to know it is probably safer to wrestle in a deathmatch than in the Dive Bar's bathroom. A short show tonight, due to the band not being there, with only 3 matches but I had fun and I think it was worth the $15 ticket. I am looking forward to attending the NJPW show tomorrow night at Sam's Town.
